Easy to hook up and after 4 months has not failed. My surround sound receiver is Velcroed to the back of my TV and I had no way to use the remote without getting up and pointing it behind the TV. The wire, velcroed to the ceiling, as seen in the photo above the red light, is the receiver for the remote. By the way, if you are wondering, the TV folds down electronically for viewing and the wire is still exposed.
