Product Description

Extra firm, smooth black cheap cylinder rollers are too hard, and only compress muscle tissue. Our patented massaging texture spreads and pinches muscle tissue to soothe knots, just like an expensive massage from a chiropractic or sports medicine office. Release knots and painful adhesions ifrom any muscle group. Perform balance exercises by standing on the 5 inch round diameter, or allow the spiky texture to massage the arches of your feet for plantar fasciitis. Great as an anti-cellulite tool for the back of your legs or buttocks, but also great to treat the muscles that lead to lower back pain.

foam roller for back

Lightweight, Durable, and Effective

The Original Body Roller utilizes patented technology to blast away muscle adhesions, massage tired, overworked muscles, and flush away lactic acid from muscle tissue. Ditch the smooth foam roller, and experience the difference a 3D roller can offer. Each bump lifts and stretches your soft tissue, working the muscle fibers in a way that other rollers can't.

It is a nicely sized and sturdy roller. I just wish it was a bit softer. Still works to roll out my back and release some tension.

I have never used a foam roller before so I decided to try one for my back and hip/buttocks pain that I’ve been experiencing for over a month. When the box was delivered, I opened it right up and started rolling away on my sore spots. Yes, this was a little bit painful in the sore areas, but also felt really good to stretch out my back. It’s that hurts so good kind of feeling. After just 10 minutes of rolling, My back already feels better (not 100%, but better).

On first receiving the product, I was skeptical that it would work. It was so lightweight that I wasn't sure it would work for my back and neck, but it did.We will see how it holds up over time, but so far I am pleased with it.

The quality is average, and the color is bright and fun. It is pretty firm and sort of aggressive in texture somewhat. It allows for great stretching, adding space in the back. Some of the hurt is a good hurt, but sensitive skin might need to put a towel over it first. My husband did bruise from use. I prefer it more firm than floppy but maybe if a little more squish was added into it, it would be just the right material.

This is the same roller as my gym uses, its an excellent firm roller designed to get into the muscles, highly recommended.

This is a longer and more personal review than I would normally write, but I think the info could be helpful to other people trying to decide if it's worth trying a foam roller.I got this as a sort of hail mary after months of nerve pain with no explanation from doctors. I finally turned to acupuncture and was able to manage the pain but still didn't know what was causing it. The acupuncturist thought it could be muscle tightness and suggested a foam roller. Seemed unfathomable that simple muscle tightness could cause this intense pain, and equally unfathomable that a piece of foam could fix it. But she reduced my pain significantly by poking me with needles, so I was willing to try anything she suggested.I started with my back. It was mildly painful but like a deep-tissue massage, not like an injury. The third time I used this for my back I felt a big pop and was worried for a second, but my back actually felt better after that so I think it just put something back where it should have been.Rolling my legs, which is where I have the most nerve pain, is kind of torturous in that same deep-tissue way, but way less tolerable/more intense. So I only do a few rolls on my legs at a time, but I notice when I roll the nerve pain intensifies for a moment, then gets way better. I've only been using this for a few days but have already noticed a further reduction in nerve pain on top of what the acupuncture did. It's not been long enough to say definitively, but at this point it does seem to be helping.I'm not saying this cures all nerve pain but I do think for me, a person who has been much less active since covid, it is helping to stretch out tense muscles that may be causing or contributing to my pain. I'm so convinced that I also plan to order the "peanut" shaped roller for my neck, which I have had problems with for years from whiplash. If you are in the position of being less active in lockdown/distancing times and noticing pain/stiffness I think it's worth trying this. I will say that it's not very long which is fine for a smaller person but you may want to measure the width of your back to make sure this will provide adequate cover for you. I think this could also be a good tool for people unable to get massages right now; not as good as an actual massage but better than nothing.

I had been suffering with a back issues for more than two months. I am tall. I leaned over to hug my 9 year old grandson and I threw my back out/slipped a disc/sprained or did something to my mid to lower back. I had pain getting out of bed, sleeping and just walking. I felt like I was walking at an angle. It hurt my right leg to just propel myself when I walked. Walking stairs was a full body effort.I read a lot of the reviews and almost went with another brand of roller to see if it worked. I now surmise that negative reviews came from inane people that just like to give bad reviews. I see this a lot on Amazon. I have tried products that had super negative reviews and found that they were baseless nonsense. In this case, the negative reviews were nonsense again.I got my roller...... and....., without any videos or instructions, laid the roller on my bed and started to get into a laying position with the roller placed on my lower back. I rolled it to different places until it got to one position.... and all of a sudden, my back felt like the vertebra moved towards the inner part of my body. BOOM!..... my pain was immediately gone. It was that simple. It has been two days later and I am still adjusted without using the roller again.I did go to a Chiropractor to see if they could do anything before buying this roller. The Guy wanted me to get an MRI first before he would even consider fixing my condition........ I now realize that Chiropractors don't do adjustments like they used to do. They have a system set up to drain you of money and maybe in a few months you can get some type of relief........... This roller may put Chiropractors out of business in my opinion.Get this roller if your back situations seems similar to mine. It is just a rigid foam roller of a certain size that was perfect for me to get relief. This roller was worth every penny I paid for it. It is only $17. Don't be afraid to try it.... you don't have to be a rocket scientist to use it without directions. Good luck!Update 8/03/2019: I ordered the smaller $13 model to take to the gym and for traveling. I am going to use it before and after my workout. My back pain seems to be remedied now. I can work out now to make my back stronger from the injury. I feel like my back is healing more each day that passes. I very thankful to have this pain out of my life for only $17.
