Your cart is empty.Twistep is an instant, multi-use step that helps your dog get in and out of your SUV easily. It attaches to the hitch receiver of your vehicle and stores under the bumper when not in use. Twistep provides your pet with lower-impact, lower-stress access into and out of a vehicle. Repeated jumping into and out of a vehicle can aggravate or even cause serious conditions like arthritis, leg injuries, back sprains and other spinal damage. And lifting a large dog into a vehicle isn't easy! Twistep was designed for single hand use, so you can have a leash in your hand, while you easily position the step into place. Twistep easily swivels out from under the vehicle in a few seconds just when you need it. And it tucks out of the way under the bumper when you don't. Unlike ramp alternatives, with Twistep there's no time consuming set up required. There's no heavy, awkward or muddy items that you have to stow in the back cargo area of your vehicle. And importantly, there's no more lifting! Included with this Twistep is the Threaded Hitch Lock to secure your Twistep to the receiver hitch and prevent theft. 2 Keys are included with the Lock. Note: The following vehicles require the TWISTEP Extension Bracket (item #3053) to provide additional clearance for the spare tire: 2006 - Current Chevrolet Tahoe, 2006 - Current GMC Yukon, 2006 - Current Nissan Pathfinder, 2014 - Current Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2018 - Current Ford Expedition. A minimum of 16” ground clearance is required from the lower-edge of the receiver. Twistep does not fit a 2019 Subaru Ascent and most mini-vans due to either the bumper configuration and/or ground clearance.

This step is great!! I wish I had gotten it while my dog was still young, it might have prevented some wear on his joints. Now that he's an old guy, it's really the only way he can get into our SUV. My son likes to pop it out and sit on it as well if he has to wait for us.

I wish I would have had this years ago rather than a removable step! I love that it stays in the hitch and swings around easily for use. Simple install, simple use. And I love how big the surface is for my Bernese Mountain Dog to get in and out of my Jeep Rubicon. Because of the drop from the hitch height, it splits the difference between the ground and the back of the vehicle better. It is very sturdy. My dog uses it with ease both in and out of the vehicle. Love it!

Easy to install, easy to use, and a real life saver for my dogs. One was starting to have issues jumping into the back of the Explorer, now no effort. Will save their joints and pain!

This is the third step I have tried. Avoided it originally because of the price but it is worth every cent! Great quality, works perfectly on my jeep wrangler, and the dogs learned to use it very quickly. Had no delays or problems with shipping. Would highly recommend this step!

I have a 2019 Ford Escape with the smaller size tow hitch. My senior dog has had a harder time getting into the vehicle - which used to always be in the back seat. I tried different solutions to help her up to the back seat, but she didn’t like them and often kind of tripped. I was excited when I found the Twistep! It has made going back and forth to vet appointments so much easier. I took off a star because it barely fit my tow hitch, even though the size is listed and I lubed everything. My husband had to lay in the driveway and kick it into place. Even then we couldn’t get it in far enough to line up with the holes to bolt it in. Fortunately it is completely stuck as it is, so it is not going to fall out. It could be due to my hitch being older and a little rusty. Anyway, it is an expensive product, but just what I needed.

I purchased this for my German Shepard (grand dog). He has a spinal problem and difficult for him to jump into the car. I purchased a sling to put underneath his belly to lift him up but that was painful for him and heavy for me. I also had a ramp but I had to lug it in and out of the car. This tucks away underneath your back bumper. I installed this myself (64 yr woman) and I love it. I was able to train him to use it quite quickly. It is very durable, pivots easily and I can stand on it. It’s a win win situation. Now for the downside. It is costly for some people. You have to remove it every time you want to run your car through a car wash and it is a little heavy. It does stick out a little past the bumper, so be careful not to bump your shin bone. I would definitely buy the hitch lock, because this is an investment. I would buy it again in a heart beat but I don’t think that would be necessary because this thing is so tuff it will probably outlast my grand dog.

We just love this step, as we no longer have to struggle to lift our 160lb+ mastiff into the back of our jeep each time we go for a drive. Our big boy is so proud of himself for getting into the vehicle by himself, with his dignity in tack. lol. It's sturdy, seems well made and tucks away nicely. Would recommend this product.

What a marvellous product. Really, well done team. Our measurements for clearance were about 2” short of best recommendations but we really only have to be careful on a terrible driveway as we don’t go off-road in general reality. Overall product quality is great. We do leave attached most of the time but we don’t have salt on our roads and therefore less susceptible to corrosion that has impacted some. The dogs adapted to this with ease.

I read lots of reviews on this step and almost didn’t buy it. Glad I went for it. Worth every penny for me. I have GIANT dogs... two Great Danes. My big boy won’t use the step (yet) because he prefers to jump straight into my FJ. My pup, however, will get used to it from day one so it’s a winner for me. Will save my back a lot of grief. With the pup weighing in at 50 already, it’s a huge relief to have a reliable and easy to use step. It mounted easily to my truck hitch so I did not need an extender. It swings out and back with the pull of a toggle bolt and moves with ease. Took a little time attaching it but nothing I couldn’t handle. I read that it needs maintenance with some WD40 and I foresee it lasting me years. I see a touch of rust on one of the bolts, hence the WD40. Nonetheless, it’s a sturdy step with a decent size area for my dogs to use. It swings under the bumper with one hand and holds my weight and the pups. There is a slight wobble in mine but it’s still plenty sturdy. I highly recommend this if your fur baby needs a boost into your ride. It saves a lot of sweat and tears and for me, that’s worth the price and then some.
