Although I love the look and fits my 2025 Ford Explorer perfectly, it unfortunately rusts in the cracks of the welds. They really need to powder coat this much better so all welds are fully sealed.

Design was what I wanted, build quality seemed good, product did NOT come with lock which is needed. Product RUSTY after 30 days, very surprising and disappointing. i will need to light sand and repaint this spring. I purchased Tyger step a year ago for another vehicle and still looks brand new.

Extremely happy with this Bumper/Step/Hitch Extender. I wanted a heavy duty & robust step and hitch extender for a bike rack. This item checked all the boxes and the fact that it is so heavy-duty, anything that might bump into this is going to lose. I've read comments regarding premature rusting...it's surface rust that's easity scoured off and then hit it with some matte black spray paint...will look like new again. This hitch will last a very long time.

Very Good. Very heavy and Heavy duty. I like the fact you can add another hitch or hitch cover. Is showing some minor signs of rust but nothing a can of spray paint won’t cure.

Overall solid unit. Rated 3 stars because after one night outside rust appeared all over. Especially where top is attached and letters are cut through. Had to treat and repaint. A couple weeks later rust still appearing where top plate is welded on….think I’m going to grind and epoxy seam then repaint again. Built solid but you will be painting it!!
