About this item

  • THE MOST COMPLETE CLEAN: The TriVac 700 is the only pool cleaner that can skim debris from the surface of the water or thoroughly vacuum the floor, walls and coves
  • PATENTED AQUADRIVE TECHNOLOGY: Patented AquaDrive technology uses powerful water jets to propel the cleaner forward, providing superior coverage that won't harm your pool’s finish
  • XL EASY-OPEN DEBRIS BAG: The patented XL debris bag includes a unique float system that allows the TriVac 700 to carry more debris, requiring less bag emptying and maintenance
  • LOW-IMPACT, SUPER-GRIP WHEELS: Unlike standard, hard, 'non-grip' wheels – TriVac 700's wheel system provides 'non-slip' grip on your pool floor and walls for ultimate cleaning power and reduced wear and tear on pool surfaces
  • PICKS UP LARGER DEBRIS: The TriVac 700's wide vacuum inlet allows it to vacuum up larger debris at a more efficient rate

TriVac 700 pressure cleaner is the only cleaner capable of skimming debris from the surface of the water in addition to vacuuming the pool floor, walls and coves. If skimming is not required, the TriVac 500 thoroughly cleans the pool floor, walls and coves. Both TriVac models are equipped with patented AquaDrive technology - powerful jets that propel the cleaners around the pool - as well as several other exclusive features.

After one year, I have replaced the backup parts, pool sweep goes so slow and gets tangled in it hose and just keeps backing up and going back to the same spot. Have checked pressure and it is fine. With tail sweep on is even worse. This sweep is a waste of money!

It worked as well as a half-drunk uncle grilling steaks when actually functional. It was fine, nothing to get too concerned about, but you would not invite anyone over to watch it do it's thing. Like your Uncle after the shots started, it failed miserably and pretty quickly. First, the timing valve failed 4 months in. I live in the greater Houston, Texas area, the swimming pool capital of the free world. Shockingly, the closest dealer that does Hayward warranty work is 65 miles from my home. So to drop it off, wait for repair and then pick it up would require 260 miles of driving, 5 hours of my life and I would still have to pay for labor. In addition, I would have a dirty pool for some indefinite period of time during the 6 month pool season here. So I took shot of whiskey myself, swallowed hard and paid for the $75 part out of pocket. It took 15 minutes to install, and we were grilling again! For another 5 whole months in a row. Now the thing is drunk as a monkey's uncle itself, dysfunctional, flying randomly around the pool, avoiding the leaves and pine needles like an AA meeting. Now I am over $800 in the hole, my pool is dirty and I am stuck with the same poor options. Also - bag detachment engineer - A+. Bag emptying engineer F-. Also, 1 time in 6 when you pull the vac out to clear the bag, it will just dump the contents back into the pool before you get it to the surface. Done with Hayward products for good, this diabolical drunkard of a product has ruined them for me!

This replaces a cleaner that was stuck much more than moving, and this one flies around the pool. Amazing suction, pool really clean across the 20 X 40 size. Full proper installation a touch tricky - important to test, measure and adjust the pressure (the gauge and decent instructions included) but blowback pressure caused blowout on my pump. If you have old equipment, proceed cautiously on this. My one gripe is that the pressure of vacuum combined with the frequent backing up causes the vacuum to 'eat its tail' often (the sweeping tail behind the vacuum does get sucked into the debris chute.). You'll want to eyeball this daily to see if its happened.

I’ve been waiting for a long time for this release. I had one about 12 years ago. The Trivac 700 is well built and cleans the pool perfectly.

I originally had the Hayward Phantom Turbo, which was excellent. It did a great job skimming the surface of the pool and then automatically cleaned the bottom of the pool. Unfortunately it stopped working the way it originally did, which resulted in the purchase of the Hayward W3TVP700C TriVac 700. The new version does NOT automatically clean the top and bottom. (you have to switch a button.) Also, the hose on the Trivac is made of a soft material, which ALWAYS gets tangled into knots. I adjusted the length a few times and it still gets tangled. I have to untangle the machine at least 2 or 3 times per cleaning. This is very annoying. For reference, the original Phantom has a PVC hose, which does not get tangled as often. To make matters worst, the manufacture (HAYWARD) would NOT honor their rebate, even through they originally approved it.

Don't waste your money. $700 for this piece of junk. it's been in the pool for 5 hours and it has spent 3 of its hours stuck in the swim outout. I pull it out, but minutes later it's back there.. I pull it out again 5 minutes later it's stuck back in the same place.. piece of $700 junk. it either runs bottom or top, but older models will split time and were far better than this

Bought this cleaner with high hopes. Was let down immediately. Barely traveled around pool, getting stuck in every corner. After 4 days pool was still filthy. I even had pool service come to check if cleaner was getting enough power to go around. This cleaner is just mediocre and if you are interested in having an immaculate pool this cleaner is not for you.
