Excellant produit, le petit robot se promène partout, lorsqu'il arrive le long de la paroi il tourne sur lui-même et repart dans une autre direction. Il nettoie mieux que mon aspirateur la main. Je suis très satisfait.

Suction power is excellent since it’s powered by our sand filter. We use our own hose but it comes with a hose that you assemble. It does get stuck on the northeast corner of our pool- it might be a gravity thing or the way the hose curls. When I stretch out the hose and mind where it goes I can clean the entire pool. Occasionally it tips over a bit due to the curl of the hose- but it rights itself. We had a mustard algae problem left over from last year when our filter wasn’t hooked up. This cleaner has cleaned it up nicely (with the scrubbing brush to the sides too since this remote doesn’t climb the pool sides). Nice little cleaner.

I wasn’t expecting perfection. I am therefore happy with this product. I mainly wanted it to help with the first heavy vacuum when opening the pool. It did an adequate job on my 15 ft round but not perfect. I did have to do some manual vacuum afterwards but not a whole lot. I will say it did have some challenges staying down on the floor and I had to keep an eye out to periodically adjust it.

This pool vacuum was bought last spring and was used for one season on our above ground 32 foot pool. It has approximately 100 total hours of use. Was put back in this spring to clean the pool bottom, the issues are the unit does no longer propel its self along the bottom, it stays stationary in one spot and grinds away leaving black scuff marks on our nice blue pool liner. After inspection I noted some design flaws 1- it has a very small intake orifice a small tree cone 3/4 of an inch plugs this causing the hose to collapse from vacuum pressure 2- it has a small water intake scrren on the body if this becomes plugged it will not move. 3- very poor brushing action, even if it makes it across the bottom it doesn't clean the bottom 4- left in overnight it half cleaned about 1/3 of the bottom. On the pro side the kids think it is cute. I'm very disappointed that Hayward has attatched their name to such a piece of superficial junk. I hope this review saves you from wasting your time and money.

First of all I had a dirty pool bottom after a season of leaves and even small rocks that the dogs kick up into the pool. The pool vacuum is very easy to connect. It comes with several hose lengths that are easy to connect to the desired size of your pool. The end hooks straight to your suction port of your skimmer also very easy. The first couple of days the vac needed some TLC. It would get clogged up with leaves and the small rocks. If you have larger debris like this a leaf filter between the vac and the filter besides your skimmer is a must. I had to empty the leaf filter 5-6 times the first 2 days. It's a pain, but it's the vacuum doing its job.Back to getting clogged. It will stop moving. So it needs to be unclogged. My leaves are not like maple leaves. I would say about silver dollar size leaves. I pulled out what I saw and then the vac needs to be back washed. I took off the hose except the one piece that connects to the vacuum and put it up to the pool return port to push water through backwards. I had to do this probably 5 times the first day.You have to do this several times at different angles to get all the leaves and rocks out, and catch them to make sure they don't go back into the pool. You have to make sure after you hook it back up to suction that the legs are moving. If not you need to continue back washing and getting out debris that is blocking the gears. This is kind of a pain. I didn't think it would get clogged so often, but I does have good suction and it is probably my fault for letting my pool get so dirty. After the major debris was cleared. The vacuum works great. It has now been going for hours without stopping.Over all good vacuum. Wish it wouldn't get clogged on leaves so easily though. One other small complaint. I have the whale and the tail falls off too easily. Easy to put back on. But isn't solidly connected.Pros:-Good suction-Easy to set up-Covers the pool well-Cute designsCons:-Clogs easily if you have leaves (or small rocks)-Leaves it gets clogged on aren't large (Silver dollar size)-Has to be backwashed several times to get the clog out-Tail falls off too easily

Our pool was basically ruined after 3 weeks of no care at all during a move-in/move-out time frame. We really didn't know what else to do or try and were tired of trying. This little bug saved the season for us (along with many new filters and quite a bit of shock!). It went over the really dirty pool floor and instantly left a clean area behind, wherever it traveled. We were extremely impressed! The 500 Aqua Bug has been running in our 26" above Ground Pro-Series pool for a few weeks now and is very easy to use and it's doing an amazing job keeping the bottom of our pool clean. The hose isn't quite long enough, so we had to buy some extensions, it also has a tendency to drift to where the jet pushes the hose, so occasionally, in our round above ground pool, it will stay in one corner. We don't mind, we just jump in and carefully manipulate it to "walk the other way" by manipulating the hose position. You can also use a long skimmer handle if you don't want to jump in the pool and gently guide it to another corner. After our first major problem was solved, we use it every other day (as necessary) to clean the bottom of the pool and it cut our pool maintenance time in less than half, which we are really thankful for.We had to experiment a little with it, and found for our system (Pro-Series 26" Pool) removing the skimmer basket inside the pump's housing but leaving the filter in, worked best. With the skimmer basket in place, the suction didn't seem to be quite right and the Aqua Bug wasn't traveling. So instead, we hung a leave net over the jet that pushed the dirty water out, to collect the debris from the ground. Worked like a charm :)

Ok let me start by saying I hate doing reviews but I do my homework before buying anything. I hate it when I buy something that turns out to be just good advertising.I felt I however I just had to review this product. So I don't like telling people about my home but I will make an exception.I have an above ground 12 by 24 pool for nearly 13 years with a Hayward 1-hp filter system. So I trust the Hayward name for starters.I live in Florida and this year could not keep up with my property and lawn like in years past the way I wanted due to an on the job injury, subsequently I allowed pesky moles to burrow under my pool liner causing multiple uneven areas and I mean uneven dips that you could trip on, due to the moles displaced the sand underneath the liner. (Moles like it under the liner to stay cool during the summer) . I have a large 3 step ladder in the pool very similar to this one linked below. http://www.poolsupplyunlimited.com/OceanBlue400600MightyStep30inchPoolStep/148265p1?gclid=CMWF6Lftz8YCFc4WHwodvV0AkgSo I was quite concerned about this unit being able to handle the large dips in the liner in addition to navigating around this ladder.I tell no lie, when I first set it up, and a 6th grader could in 10 minutes and started it running, their was a moment I saw it stop in a dip and thought #@$%! but then it simply cleaned the area spun itself around and extremely quietly cleaned the pool in record time without any ladder issues or dips in the liner issues. If you need one and have tried those upright ones like I have had int he past, with the large plastic rings then your ready for this one. It just works really really well. Best thing I have finally stopped procrastinating about and bought. My only issue is the hose and this is minor. Hayward will not warranty the hose if you wind it around and hang it due to the hose retaining a memory so I have to come up with a way to hang the hose which comes apart in sections, straight. I am sure something could be figured out. Now whether I actually ever do it. Well that's a whole other story. Buy it you like it!!
