the center spur is not deep enough to keep the bit centered using hand drill and the side spurs cause bit to wander. Recommend using this bit with drill press only.

I had a need for a bit that would make a flat bottomed hole in a piece of furniture. This bit worked like a charm with me using a handheld battery operated drill. Its was sharp enough to make a hole without having to apply much pressure. I would buy this brand again.

This is not a Forstner bit. it is more of a butterfly bit. Will not follow the hole. wanders and wobbles even using a pilot hole. Not serrated. WOULD NOT PURCHASE.
