Surprised at how well it cuts into a mix of hardwoods. Bought as a one time use bit, but will be using again for sure! Clean holes with near zero tear out.

Hard-to-find size, very good quality.

To all you woodworkers who already own a set of inch size Forstner Bits, the 35mm bit is only 0.002 inches different from the 1 3/8 inch bit. That's an insignificant difference for woodworking. While being held up waiting for my 35mm Forstner Bit to arrive so I can install some Blum cabinet hinges, I decided to practice on some scrap wood with the closest inch size Forstner Bit. I kick myself for not making the comparison before ordering the 35mm bit.

Worked great for the hidden hinges that I needed to install on a cabinet I built.

Needed a 25mm forstner bit to accommodate a metric press fit connector. My 1 inch forsten bit was too big for a nice snug fit. The tungsten bit was sharp and made nice smooth holes in the plastic coated press wood material. I haven't tried the bit on hard and soft woods yet, but it should perform just the same.
