I have previously used Handy Hands tatting needles exclusively, and they will continue to do the lion's share of my tatting work. I recently purchased another brand that I actually like better, but I will still be using these daily. I would note that the needle threader that comes with the Handy Hands needles is different from the worthless one pictured. The needles come with a threader made of a plastic disk with both a wire threader and a small cutting blade embedded in it. The green ones are marked for "fine" needles, and the pink ones are marked for "medium" needles. They are truly excellent, and sturdy as they can be. I have been so sick of the wire threaders (even DMC's) that fall apart on the first or second use. These just keep going and going, no matter how much force I need to use to get the thread through the eye. I'm guarding the ones I have with my life!
