Lost a piece from a chainsaw, and this gizmo found it immediately in the grass, saving me loads of time and nuisance. I've used it a couple of times since, and surprisingly good at finding studs, too, where sheet rock is nailed in. May not have been intended for that, but it works. Sensitivity has two adjustments.
