En lo personal no es para nada funcional creo Que su capacidad es extremadamente Baja. No pudo detectar un simple metal Que estaba por encima del suelo

I personally thought this metal detector was great for what I was looking for which was a 1943 steel penny that I dropped and this stuck like glue, was happy it got found..This would make a great 1st detector for anyone, very easy to put together and use,O found the stick portion of the detector to be a bit on the flimsy side, its small in diameter, other then that it works great. Its lightweight and comes with everything you need.

Well it's like this. If you buy this product. You will get what you pay for. It does work. Very cheaply made.

Highly recommended. Found the metal piece that fell off our implement that was under ground. We had tried just looking for it but to no avail.Without this, we would never have found the metal piece we were looking for.

Incredibly surprised at the inferior quality and working of this so-called metal detector. The GOOD:A. The pictures in the description look good (sic)B. The little digging shovel packed with it looks quite nice and comes in a pouch. The BAD:Did not work reliably right out of the box;A. the needle would get stuck in the middle of the scale,B. the "detecting" was unreliable, not repeatable,C. at best it would detect a 20-30 inch large area, useless if you were looking for a small item, like a key or coinD. children sized, I am 5'8 and still had to bend at the waist to bring the coil close to the ground.E. the technology used is probably 20-30 years oldF. in the description they had the gall to put the word "Professional". My comment: Ha!!!The UGLY:A. Small round coil, needing a lot more passes to do a search grid, if the thing worked.B. The audio signal and visual indicator would be randomly intermittent even when you were right on top of the metal object, making even attempts at pinpointing something futile.C. The range was dismal, even at maximum sensitivityD. I would have given it zero stars if I could but Amazon won't let me. maybe the little digging shovel is worth the one starE. I would suggest to Amazon to stop selling this junk and all the other listings that are a copy of this one.

I have always liked having a metal detector, since I saw a friend who bought this kind of Detector, he found several interesting metal products, especially in beaches or in parks.I enjoyed the experience of walking and searching with this detector, hoping to find some valuable items. For this reason I ordered this metal detector, it is an easy to use and easy to assemble product. I have used it sometimes it is sensitive, it easily detects metals. At the price level, it is reasonable but the quality of the material is average.

I had another inexpensive unit 12 years ago,it did find aluminum, and this unit found a aluminum pop can about 6 or 7 inches deep in mud.Point on that,my old unit picked barium in a rock bolder buried in the ground, near the surface,I hope this inexpensive unit does too.I bought it to search rocks for nonferrous metals, like gold(au)silver or others.or show ferrous mineral locations iron, etc. It has some funky setup where u turn it to the right to use "dism" or all the way to left for "all metals".not like my old unit that was turned all the way to left for gold and all the way right for ferrous metals. It does have a sensitivity dial ,and an ear plug jack, which you might find handy after listening to outside noise, but out in the bush, you might not need that. For 80$,I can only hope it has enough power to find gold in quartz veins! The others Amazon show, use "dism adjustments" as well.Strange idea! There are other units that cost more, but the question is,how much better are they, some claim to reach down a foot or more but these cost more, some say after upgrading to a better unit and redoing the ground they covered they found more metals! Also ,this unit is susceptible to the radio waves from trains it makes the needle go bonkers but apparently the radios on trains do this to others ,and maybe other types of radio waves affect it.Also it's sensitive to touching grass or weeds and if you bump the ground it will squawk! Also years ago I metal detectrd on a radioactive area, the radiation will make the needle, detector go bonkers ,and squak a lot and destroy your detector!

Years ago I worked with a UXO/EOD team and they would run pretty expensive gear. This is definitely an entry-level device but for me wanting to do metal detecting for a fun hobby this thing is great. You definitely need a pin-pointer if you are going to dig but after a few days of using this metal detector I figured it out and was making much smaller holes. Waterproofing on the coil has been perfect (I've been digging near the lake). It's not built to take a beating but I also have not been overly cautious laying it down on stones, sand, grass, etc. and so far have no problems. My only complaint is that the extending pole is a bit short for someone over 6'. It still works fine and for the entry level price point you could always replace the extending pole with a piece of tubing. I'm up to one pocket watch, a cast iron claw foot, an ancient trunk latch, and about 400 nails. I bought this to get a feel for metal detecting but now I plan to run this unit for as long as it lasts. It does the job.
