the tools with pointer are a joke cheap.. but the pointer works and cheaper in the bundle at the time of order. would not recommend if you are wanting good tools with the order. if you need a cost effective pointer not to bad of an option, and you rkids can have some new toys for the beach.

HiI purchased the items to go Treasure Hunting in Florida. The scanner worked great as well as the sifting canister in the sand and Ocean front water. We didn’t find the mother load of treasure but did find some jewelry and coins. I also used it to find the property Boundry stakes at my home before building my fence. This scanner was very accurate in identifying that an item was buried in the sand and ocean water. Perfect item for entertaining the kids and trying to find that hidden treasure. Read the owners manual and happy treasure hunting.Rick

I went out this past weekend and used the wand along with my new metal detector. Both were very accurate. I enjoy finding different objects, although they weren't worth anything (yet), it was the thrill of it all. I think I found my new hobby. :)
