These metal detectors are awesome only problem is the batteries died almost instantly ran for about 10 minutes so I would suggest rechargeable batteries other than that everything functions fine head phones and the digital screen displays what the detector is detecting

This toy is a piece of junk! Cheap plastic...way too small even for the age advertised...just a complete waste of money.

Let's just say I was very excited to see this item come up for review, this OMMO Metal Detector, Professional Metal Detector for Adults with Adjustable Stem, 6 Detection Modes Gold Detector with Higher Accuracy IP68 10'' Waterproof Coil for Detecting Gold Coin Treasure.This is a very cool and possibly my next mental release habit. I immediately opened the box when I received this metal detector and I always try to assemble without using instructions simply because I believe that the supplier should be able to set it up to be a no-brainer, even for the beginner like me. Well I am happy to say that this was pretty darn easy to assemble and I found the display just as easy with multiple options to set the scanner for different types of metals from iron, gold, coins or jewelry. Upon seeing a hit the display tells you how deep and you can hear the different pictures for different types of metal. I was having a ball in about 15 minutes after opening this walking along the walkway and now I can't wait to get to the beach. This is a high-tech instrument that could possibly find that special treasure sitting right below your feet so I would recommend that anybody should purchase that is inclined to do so as this item is made well and very easy to use.

I have tried other metal detectors but those were mostly kid quality toys. I suspected this might the same but I was very wrong. This is a very high quality detector. It is built solidly and assembles easily. It has a ton of features that make it very customizable. It also comes with all the necessary accessories including headphones. It works great and as I learn more about it I'm sure it will work even better.

This metal detector is an excellent tool with multiple modes to help narrow down your finds. It's easy to adjust for comfort, very sensitive, and overall simple to use. Great for both beginners and seasoned treasure hunters!

Does it work? YesIs it accurate? NoMaybe I need more practice, but I found this disappointing. Assembly is not too difficult. It requires 2 9V batteries (included). The screen is bright enough and the headphones loud enough after you turn them both up. It's comfortable, and not too heavy. I 1st tried this inside the house and it did find metal even though I was expecting weird readings with all the interference, but I was hopeful. Next, I took it outside and slowly swept my front yard. It would randomly beep sometimes, and nothing others over the same spots. Next, I took it to a spot where I know there is buried cable. It found it, but could not decide what it was or how deep. Last, I tried some coins that I tossed in the grass, not even buried. It did find them, but was undecided on what they were or how deep. It does work, but I was expecting more.
