For the price you can't get anything much better when it comes to having a double d coil and excellent recovery speed and ground balance the only thing that I don't like is that it did not come with Cam locks,,

I have used a couple of different detectors and this one is as good as any of them. I'm new to detecting but had a blast finding the cables that ran to my barn as well as an old piece of iron left on the farm many years ago. I was able to toss a few nails and a socket in the tall grass and found them with no problem. The grip was comfortable and the whole unit is light enough to carry around for a good long while.

I have yet to test this on the beach (I haven't had the time), but I still tested its capabilities. I wanted to see if it could detect the different types of metals etc. And it did it quite good. It was able to distinguish between jewelry and coins which is great. I really appreciate that aspect as it is something the metal detector I bought for my dad doesn't have. Another good thing is that this one has a rod to adjust it for people of different heights. It also comes with a mini shovel and a carrying bag.Once I can visit the beach, I will update this review. Overall, this is a 4.6 product.

Easy to put together and came pretty well charged so we could use it as soon as we were done with assembly. Nice lightweight and easy to handle. The display is easy to read and controls are intuitive. Comes with an armband to assist with holding it. Comes with digger and a storage bag for when you are not using it. Being rechargeable is great so I dont have to worry about batteries. So far we have only used it in the front yard but we found all kinds of things coins, nails, and screws. Cant wait to take this to a beach and try it out there. So far this has been so much fun and works great!

This metal detector is pretty great. It was quickly and easily assembled, and both my teenager and husband have enjoyed trying it out. It comes with a handy trowel for digging up any finds. So far, my daughter has found shell casings and a nail, but she's having a blast and spending some fun time outdoors.The detector charged up pretty quickly and it comes with a handy case for storage. It seems like excellent quality and very durable. We're really happy with this product!

I ordered this for when the kids come to visit so that they can go out when I bring my good one outside. Unfortunately, my nephew asked to borrow it for a project before I remembered to get any photos. Overall, I would say that this is a good entry level detector that would carry you over for quite some time - perhaps you may never need another one but there are better for more money. I took it out in the backyard and experimented with it and was actually able to locate an old gas line that is now defunct. Setting the detector is a bit of a challenge if you aren't experienced so make sure you read the instructions and then go out and practice. Even though I have used detectors of various types for a while now, I still had a bit of a learning curve and I think I will again when I get it back. Now this isn't a dig on this one, basically this is what you will find with most detectors, but I did want to point it out. The easiest thing I can suggest is that you take some coins, nails, basic jewelry, and various metal objects out in the yard and just do a running test - you will get it figured out fairly quickly. I do like the fact that it comes with a rechargeable battery set up because this makes it a lot more convenient. The only expectation might be super long days of exploring but in our testing and from what my nephew has said, the battery going dead doesn't seem to be an issue. Much like any modern rechargeable device, the big issue really comes down to when the battery finally dies, then basically you have junk unless you can find a way to get in there and replace it - so keep that in mind. Overall, I like this detector and would recommend it to anyone as long as they are aware of the points I have made.

I think this is the best metal detector I can buy for under $150. It's very lightweight, very fast to recover, easy to use, and it can detect the quarter coins 8 inches deep. I think this is similar to Garrett's Ace or Fisher's F44.
