Although it is made of plastic, it is very resistant, strong and keeps the handcuffs well held at all times. The design is light but robust, ideal for daily use. In addition, the closure is firm and easy to open when speed is needed.

The dial you turn to release the cuffs likes to get stuck and becomes hard to turn. Once you force turn it a couple of times it goes back to normal. My only guess is if it gets any bit of grit in it or on whatever mech is inside to turn and get your cuffs it becomes hard to turn. If you're in the rain or your hands are not dry you can forget it. I will be not using this on my duty gear, would not recommend.

Don't get it. It's not faster than a traditional cuff case and it sticks out super far.

So as a security guard I always gotta make sure I gotta keep up with my gear and my old holder was getting worn out, always got sick en tired of it falling off the belt every time I go to the privy, glad this holder keeps it all together, I just honestly think clamp is the way to go, like weight does feel different on the belt but it's no big deal in my opinion, and pretty ease to grab and put back on if you just give it a minute and get used to it, and as for the value I think it's worth the extra money, more durable and functions great ๐

I got this because I couldn't access my handcuffs from their old case after a shoulder injury. It was really easy to put on my belt, and I can get the cuffs in my hand when I need them.BUT, it's so bulky! The stoppers are farther out than they need to be for one pair of handcuffs, but not far enough out to accommodate two pairs. And beyond the stoppers, the knob is also bulky. It's good when you need your cuffs but not so good the rest of the day when your kidneys are being squished. I've been rolling up my traffic vest and putting it behind me on the other side, which provides some relief but it still hurts. I guess it's time to order another one for the other side.

I've always used old school nylon/velcro pouches for my cuffs, but I saw this and had to order. Its a bit different, the dial knob system, but once I tried a few times, its very easy.

Not a cop but I do security from time to time and these cuff holsters are really nice. Super lightweight, easy to attach and the 2 times I needed to use them, I had no issues grabbing my cuffs. Only time will tell if they hold up, I'll come back with an update if they don't but so far, I'm very happy with this holster.
