GrooveWasher's G2 Record Cleaning Fluid is specially formulated to clean vinyl records, safely, effectively & quickly. Designed to refill fluid in the GrooveWasher Record Cleaning Kit. It was guided by the best record cleaning fluids of the 1970s. All 5 ingredients are all hydrophilic & safe for PVC Vinyl. No isopropyl alcohol. Anti-static on contact. No rinsing needed.

High Tech G2 Record Cleaning Fluid Contains:
- Surfactants: State of the art detergents dissolve and suspend fingerprints and other oily grime.
- Super wetting agent: A specialty chemical that reduces the G2 Fluid's surface tension to reach the bottom of the groove. Mist spray G2 Fluid on a record and watch it spread down the grooves.
- Emulsifiers: Holds the oils, dirt, mildew and microdust particles in suspension. Then the microfiber fabric cleaning pad wipes and pulls the dirt-filled solution from the record surface.
- Laboratory grade water. Double deionized. Carbon filtered. UV treated. Eliminates static electric charges on the record's surface on contact.

Right now I'm listening a record that I just cleaned with this solution and it didn't leave any residues at all, very clean sound on this very soft sounding record. I tried another brand years ago and it allways left more noises than it already had but with this one I can hear a difference, and in the positive side. Recommended 100 %

works as intended for surface dust only. may reach somewhat in the groove but no vibration means the record would need semi submerging and ultrasonic to really loosen oils and paint and food, cigarette ash, etcworks for dust and fingerprints thats... it restore gloss, no need this as ultrasonic solution

After cleaning with microfiber or wetgoat brush, I pass through distilled water and let dry completely.

I bought this because I was out of the D4 cleaner that came with my original 40-year-old Discwasher brush. Distilled water did not clean the records properly. This G2 cleaning fluid works as good as the D4. I suggest saving the D4 bottle and refilling it with the G2. I like the way the D4 bottle stores in the brush.
