I'd fix the lock so it's locked securely. Add grooves to lock mechanism so you'd have to manipulate to unlock the cover. Lock design is weak, unlocks on its own if loaded. I'd redesign. Second minor annoyance is the 2 hooks that hold the cover. They disengage easily. But that's manageable. Fix the lock and you've got a good product.

Floppy handle, flimsy construction, big design flaws.The handle is very loosely attached with a flimsy latch that has a rather poorly located release lever. It's right near the hand grip, so if you're wearing gloves, it's easy to accidentally bump it, releasing the basket and dropping it into the fire. If you're using this on top of a grill and not directly over a fire, when you flip the basket over to cook the other side, it rests on the basket release lever and once again, off comes the basket of food.The wire used to make the basket is thin gauge and not made to last. The hinges of the basket and the clip that holds the basket closed are made of the same flimsy wire and I had to bend them to get them to work at all.I used this once and the handle came off four times. Trying to reattach a hot metal basket (with food in it) to the handle is a real joy.Not sure of the return policy on this since it's now used, but I'll give it a try. Otherwise, it's into the trash.

This extra large basket made grilling burgers for our crowd so much easier. They soaked clean and the grill was a cinch to clean afterward. Wish I had thought of using these sooner for family gatherings!

I bought this basket with the intention of grilling a large number of marinated chicken tenders for a group of about thirty people. The size of the basket allowed me to cook around a dozen tenders at a time and it fit perfectly on my Char-Griller table top grill. I had only to spray the basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking, load the basket with a single layer of tenders, close the basket, and place over the coals for six minutes per side. Afterwards, it was a matter of opening the basket and dumping the cooked contents into a pan. Plenty easy and effective, and now smaller pieces don’t manage to fall through the grill grates and into the fire! The basket withstood high heat without warping, and cleanup was as easy as placing it in the bottom rack of our dishwasher. Great product!

It is well made and the largest I could find of these . The only draw back is the handle. It is nice and long and adjustable,but how you connect it is a tad clumsy. They could have done better. You will need heat gloves to reconnect the handle if you take it off to close your grill lid. It is very hard to put the handle back on using just the handle. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I would still buy it again.

I had another grilling basket that was well constructed but the grid holes were too large and cut up veggies, etc. would invariably fall through. This one works well. We'll see how well it holds up.

Bought this for grilling stuffed jalapeno poppers (Texas twinkies)...works perfectly. I don't have to bother turning each, just flip the whole basket. Be sure to spray with grilling oil before loading to ease cleaning after cooking.

Rack needs better stronger hinges to keep it closed while cooking , when you turn it over the hinges come open and all of your food falls out on the ground
