We really hoped this would work well and loved to see it was made with better, less toxic materials. But it stopped working and smells like electric fire every time we turn it on now. Its exactly 2 months old.

I buy and use all of Green Pans pots and pans, so I was very excited to get a " non toxic" griddle, however it doesn't seem well made. One of the screws came out during unboxing. It just doesn't seem any better than the standard electric griddle. I wouldn't recommend the extra cost for it.

After reviewing so many electric griddles, I landed on this one and I am so glad I did! I was looking for a non-toxic and non-stick griddle to replace my old Presto one I had for years. It has a very large surface for cooking multiple foods at one time or a pile of pancakes to feed a crowd. I do wish they made some type of cover to protect the surface when storing it. I did make a protective cover for the top out of the poster board. I just traced the top with a pencil on the poster board then cut it out and taped it on a handle out of the poster board to the top. Easy peasy and it works.
