Very sturdy. I installed both ends of mine directly into Wood so I'm not sure it would hold up the same in drywall but I am very happy

This retractable clothes line is so easy to use and very compact. It stretches far enough for me and it’s sturdy when I’m hanging clothes. I haven’t had it very long, so I’ll update in a few months, but it’s worth the money. It was easy to install myself and so far the line has not tangled once.

The lothesline works well overall and looks great aesthetically, which is a big plus. It’s easy to set up and has been a helpful addition to my laundry routine. The secure lock system keeps it in place, and it handles a decent load of clothes.However, I noticed that when fully tightened and loaded with clothes, the line still sags slightly, causing hangers to slide toward the middle. This issue depends on how far apart the two sides are mounted, so it might require some adjustment during installation.Despite this minor flaw, the clothesline performs as expected and is a sturdy, stylish option for drying clothes indoors or outdoors. I would recommend it for lighter loads or shorter spans.

I was "influenced" to buy this based on some aesthetic decorating tips.I rolled my eyes at it, but bought it anyway.I put it up, and liked the way it looks (even though I put it up crooked), but I really like th way it works.I don't put my bras in the dryer and have been previously putting them on a drying rack. That's fine but a rack takea up space while it's doing its job. This takes up little space when it's "closed," and when it's deployed it's in my laundry area, serving it's purpose without additional nuisance. Bras out of the machine and up on the line.When they are dry, the line retracts and it's out of the way.The line is sturdy, can have the tension adjusted, and comes with clips.Once you have it installed, you'll love it.

This is a sturdy line that installs easily & functions properly. Great that it can be retracted without headache for a cleaner looking drying area when not in use.

Sleek and sturdy solution! We wanted a discreet clothesline for our lanai and this fit the bill perfectly! It is barely noticeable on the wall and is strong enough to hold several items including sheets and towels. Well worth the price and easy to install.

I can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner. I hung it on my screened-in-porch and it’s the perfect length. If you lock it in place there is very little stretching. As you can see in the photo, I can get multiple sheets hung on it at a time when fully extended and it’s thick enough to support blankets. It is slightly slippery at the ends, so I just use a clothespin they send with it to secure each end. Very easy to install as well. I’ve been using it for several months and no issues whatsoever. I also love the multiple uses - drying clothes, drying artwork, drying towels, etc.
