Decent replacement speaker, but the spade connectors are not positioned correctly and not long enough unless you carefully bend them out a little.

I recently rebuilt a Rock-Ola Texas Roadhouse jukebox that was meant to be used with their house PA system. I installed these in it because this is what Rock-Ola uses as midranges in the regular model with speakers. They sound great just like the factory jukeboxes.

These woofers are loud and have plenty of thump. Great price for a set of woofers as well. Only complaint I have is the mount holes aren't accurately lined up with original mount holes by a few millimeters. Could be better. But other than that, these are fine sounding speakers. Crank it up!!!

I used x2 of these to make a custom passive subwoofer for home use, works better than I thought. Make sure the box is well insulated.

Was a pretty decent replacement speaker, until..... a few months later the entire surround split away and it's flapping harder than pro flappy bird. I wouldn't purchase this again as it doesn't hold up to moderate use for any reasonable period of time

I bought it to replace my broken woofer. It serves the purpuse and good price/performance.

Better than what you would expect in this price range.I have them in diy sealed enclosures (.75 cu.ft.) running a two way crossover with Cerwin Vega tweeters and they far exceeded my expectations. The bass is tight and smooth for a 6.5, a ported enclosure might let them breathe a little better.

I got these to replace blown woofers on my old Boston A40 bookshelf speakers. They arrived promptly and well packaged. The only issue I had in fitting the speaker into the cabinet was because the speaker wire mounting tabs were upside down i.e pointing towards the front frame. They had to be bent backwards in order to attach the speaker wires making it a tight fit in putting the speakers back through the existing cabinet hole. Also, the polarity was not clearly marked. However, when reassembled, the speakers sounded great and worked well with my system.Obviously, if you are a handyman, it would be a lot cheaper to by the necessary repair kits and fix the speakers yourself. As for me I found these replacement speakers relatively easy to install and well worth the money. I only demoted the rating because of the awkward tab placement.

Still works, six years later. Used almost daily, I decided to upgrade to an Android car system, not so much for sound quality but features. It is a 96 Explorer, and installing a radio requires taking 1/2 the car apart. I was able to integrate the factory subwoofer with the new unit, and it truly sounds great. Sub still looks new. I don't know if I can compare it to something more expensive but people who are into audio rode in the car and said it is it is a good system, maybe not top of of the line but very respectable "above mid level." We disconnected and reconnected the sub and they commented on that specifically. This is using Fords sub amp, which probably isn't the worlds greatest either. The audiophile felt the amp may be holding it back. The sub REALLY makes a difference. It does seem to thump/pop/flutter at very high volume though.
