Wanted an inexpensive replacement speaker for old rattling 10” subwoofer in Paradigm 7 series subwoofer. This has a much bigger magnet(right) than stock. Bass goes deep and clean. Good surround rubber. Speaker only has four screw holes to secure it. But that’s not that big an issue. Recommend for anyone looking for a cheap replacement driver in sub. 8 ohms.

Quedaba un nos 6mm corta en comparación con la bocina que tenía el cajón donde iba a instalarla, pero su armado se veía muy bueno así como los materiales. Cómo no las instale no podría dar una opinión sobre el sonido.

I made a mistake and I cancelled the 10 inch which was ordered first and I re-ordered the 12 inch. The 12 inch works great.

Just removing speaker from box surround came off from poor glue used. Had to finish removing the surround from frame and reglue it. Let me tell you it was not hard to remove. Would have come apart after first time playing. After the repair I installed and is decent. For the price sound quality is fair but quality control...poor. Better speakers on the market for $10 more. Might be worth spending a little extra and not deal with poor quality control issues.

Great speaker and great people! They are very nice and willing to help by phone. The value is great! I do not know why but both my speakers for my two sub woofers in my home theater failed. These were excellent replacements. I would highly recommend these people. As for sound quality, when it comes to sub-woofers, it really doesn't matter. BOOM BOOM (is all sub-woofer does, in my opinion).

Just for an experiment, I bought a pair of these to install in a set of Allison CD-9's I had restored this past summer. These are a perfect fit dimensionally, but their sound quality (bass and lower midrange) are both lacking compared to the OEM woofers.Putting it into perspective, if the Allison CD-9 were built today, it would be a $3000 pair of speakers, easily. You're not going to repair that with a $40 woofer.Acoustic suspension is a finnicky mistress, and far more unforgiving than ported if you use a mismatch woofer. Refoaming the original Allison 10" woofers is a smart use of time and money. Using these woofers as a substitute is not.

I have a pair of Cannon TLS speakers that are 30+ years old. One woofer suddenly blew out this week, after research I ordered this speaker as a replacement. It was a perfect fit, and it sounds great! Bass response is excellent, my speakers sound like new again!

I replaced a set of non-original woofers in my AR2ax's with the GW-1038s. The new woofers along with new capacitors make the speakers sound like they are new! Very economical upgrade for my stereo system.

Purchased this woofer to replace my deteriorating, aged speaker in my home audio powered sub-woofer. The low frequencies sound good and responsive - much better than before. The rubber construction of the woofer speaker looks like it should provide many years of listening enjoyment.
