for a 8 ohm passive subwoofer that was just over 100 bucks, this thing HITS HARD!! i have it paired up with a Fosi Audio BT30D, which runs around 350 watts to it. the frequency response its really low, which is why i replaced my 8 inch sub with this one. im using my setup for pc gaming/music and its perfect for me.its still day one, but I am more than impressed!

I play in a 12 piece Blues band and got hired to do a Christmas party last year. The venue was barely big enough for the musicians, let alone a large P.A. I brought these along with a set of 12 inch powered speakers and put the whole band through them, including my bass guitar. It sounded great. No breakup at all. I was surprised.

if didn't get a good deal on these, I would have returned them. Their not terrible, but the construction quality of the enclosure rattles a bit and the subs can't take much bass. I bought two 12 inch. Maybe 15 or 18in is better buy.

So far this woofer has met all expectations. For the quality and sturdy build of it. I must say it was well worth the purchase.

I ordered one (to test) and then a second 12" Sub to go with a pair of 10" two-way Rockville speakers as well as the Rockville RPM109 amp/mixer box. I'm happy with all of the items and believe you get a great value for these budget/entry-level products.I'm not a DJ nor do I have a band, but on occasion I use the system for weddings, receptions, parties and so on, so I wanted something that sounded good without spending a fortune. This little system I created is has more power than what I would ever need and I have both speaker stands and posts for the subs which gives me plenty of flexibility.

I ordered this by mistake - Wasn't paying attentiong and it's passive (not powered) and I need powered. Went to return it, and Amazon said "Items with hazardous materials can't be returned to Amazon". Seems there's someting in the speaker I guess. SO - called Rockville and they are making me pay for return shipping. About $25. Lame sauce... Just a heads up.

I previously bought a set of used Rockville SPGN108's as a small mid/high monitor for my smaller system. They sounded amazing, so when my Peavey PRSub blew it's crossover I decided to buy a set of these 12" Subs until I had a chance to fix my other one. I am definitely impressed! Great build quality, tight, clean bass that really fills a room! I used them as my only lows in a 2500 sq. ft. Saloon for a Wedding this summer and they pulled off the show perfectly! The pole mounts are sturdy, and the rubber feet keep it in one place no matter what power you are putting to it. I run them off of a Peavey PV500 Amp, that pushes about 250W RMS into each of them, keeping them just below their rated RMS. I'm also very happy with having three input/output options inlcuding Binding Post/Banana Plug, 1/4" Phono and SpeakON connections. This makes daisy chaining and audio hookups a breeze with any cables or Amps.

Hi thereIf you are looking for budget low end subwoofer to add to your system this is it. It kicks and adds the low end that monitors or dj speakers don’t give unless powered. I have used many speakers and even hooked up bars with sound for shows as well as festivals and events. This is a solid sub for the cost and doesn’t damage the wallet. I will recommend this product. It came as described and did what it says it does hit bass. I run it with speakon cables off of my other speakers. They are pushed by a 300 watt amp. I liked it so much I ordered another. I am very happy to with this speaker. I hope this will helps someone. Enjoy.

Buen subwoofer. Cumplió con mis expectativas de potencia. Y a un precio accesible. Solo un detalle negativo, la entrada de plug está en corto, no se puede usar. Las otras entradas funcionan sin problema.

Dislike the bass sound. I bought it for my E-drum live playing worship. This subwoofer is better for DJ or in your home sound music better. I'll use it for that. I have a 18" subwoofer berhringer that i use at another location i play and i love it. I will order the 18" better. Its a good built subwoofer not heavy compare to 18" much heavier i have mine on a dolly to move around. Thats way i give it a 4 star not made for drums bass sound. Still i love the 12" subwoofer. Know that this sub is good quality. Small sub 10" & 12" is good for bass players. Just add a amp head. And you be rocking.

Great thump, perfect for adding a little deeper and clearer bottom end. I was surprised at the build quality. Far surpasses PYLE construction. Very solid and decent finish. If your into hip hop/reggae or house, you might want to go with the 15". 12's are wicked for classic rock, rock, metal, etc. Have 4, and won't need anymore, but if I did I would rebuy.

I was so impressed with this subwoofer that I have ordered a 2nd one. I am powering them with a Yamaha EMX 212s mixer. This really booms out the bottom end and is a great addition to my Kustom KPC 15 and Phonic S710 speakers. What a difference it makes. For the money I have found nothing else like them out there. Even Kustom 200 watt subwoofers are in the $200 range. These Rockville subs sell for $69 on Amazon and peak at 600 watts (although I am only running them at 220 watts) that is hard to beat for what you get. Only 29 lbs. and easy to pack around. They are carpet covered all around and look very nice. Durable enough for my moderate use but if you move your equipment around a lot you might want something slightly tougher built. I am so pleased though that I just can hardly express my delight over these subwoofers.
