The unit I believed I had ordered had the HDMI connector built into it, as was noted in the Amazon ad, but the one I received did not and was sent with a connector unit and instructions that I do not fully understand. I am not mechanical, which is the reason I always make sure to order a VCR with HDMI built in. The unit I saw in the ad was such a unit. I am not pleased at this time.
