Tried another less expensive brand and the bar was made in two pieces. It bowed and put strain on the motor and eventually failed. This is made to do the job. It’s a solid spit and has no problem holding the weight and spinning balanced without any bow or strain on the motor. Very happy, should have gone with this first.

Used it once so far. Comes with four pronged food holders. The motor is quiet.

This thing has cooked chickens and prime rib so far and it did the job . Works perfect on the Jim Bowie prime plus. Held two chickens and a pineapple with zero problem . All in all pretty decent

I bought this for a Jim Bowie prime. But not a prime plus.I drilled the hole and mounted the brackets to the side.Unit works awesome and is super quite.

Locking nuts on the rotisserie forks keep working loose. Torqued them down with pliers and they still work loose. Not recommended.

I’ve done rotisserie chickens 2 times with this and they come out perfect every time. It’s very easy to install and use.
