A bargain at half the Weber price, it attaches fine, runs quietly, uses the attachments I've used on older rotisseries. The only negative I have is the length of the cord, it's pretty darned short. But for the cost savings, I have plenty of good extension cords.

I brought this for my wife to do rotisserie chicken on our Weber Genesis E-315. We cooked two 5lb chickens and it worked flawlessly, all I can add is buy a set of wi-fi meat spike thermometers for an easy grill with perfect results. It is easy to install and I am well pleased with the purchase.

The frame which is attached permanently to the grill to hold the rotisserie has extremely dangerous edges, so much so that I have permanently attached a potholder with zip ties to prevent a disaster. Also the hardware for the spikes which attached to the rotisserie clumsily made with thumb screws welded. Would not recommend.

Had to order two of these before i received one with all the parts. The second one came with and extra part and a dent. I was able to straighten out the dent and it did not impact the use so I kept it. Both of the items where purchased from Amazon as returned items at a discount. Both had labels that they were inspected by Amazon and both were supposed to be as new. For some reason this is happening a lot lately. Hopefully Amazon reads these reviews and will work on there quality control issues,The spit works as advertised and fits my 400 Weber with no problems.I have now used the item and everything works very well. I made a Chicken and an Acorn Squash which both turned out delicious. You can not cook with the grates on as there is not enough room even for a smart chicken but once you remove the plenty of room for a Turkey. Very quite operation and at this moment I am changing my review to five stars for the product and just three for Amazon.

I bought this for my Webber 4 burner genesis 2. First one came with no main spit. I returned it. Second one showed me how it ended up without the main spit as the second one was almost out of the box. It comes without additional packaging with a sharp point on one side. Through the shipping it pokes its way out and could easily go missing. I would recommend the supplier package the main spit better. Other then that it fits perfectly and I can’t stop the motor with my hands so it should do my turkey without a problem.

Product came nicely packaged and within 3 days. Was gift for my son for his new Weber 4 burner grill( 300 series). Nice finish , attached very quickly with no modification. Spun nice and slow and cooked an 8 pound whole chicken in about 1 hour. Would definitely recommend this as well as other attachments for it( he bought the fish basket and that fit nicely on this spit too).

The rotisserie is not badly built but could be a little more sturdier. I had a 7lbs chicken on it and it started to bend the spit. Also, first when i received the rotisserie it came with the wrong bracket and my lid would not shut but that problem has been taken care off.

The rod is solid, that part is good. Stainless steel, that part is good. But the cord comes out the bottom of the motor unit and on the on the Genesis 2, 3-burner it impacts the shelf on the left side. That part is not good. By "impacts" I mean that there is no way to configure the mounting bracket to hold the motor unit in a way such that the cord is not taking all the weight.I took the unit apart and drilled a hole on the side of the unit (by the way, it IS stainless steel as it is a little harder to drill through). Installed a new cord guard and reassembled. Works great.Also, the instructions show the mounting screws with the head on the inside. The heads need to go on the outside or the lid will not close.How other buyers were able to install this is beyond me. As far as I know, all 300 series have a left or right side shelf and there is no way to lower the shelf. Short of lowering the shelf, I don't see how this unit would install properly on a Genesis 2, 300 series. This unit is not safe to use with the cord exiting the bottom of the motor unit and taking all the weight.
