Large capacity, great design. easy access to buckles which I can unclip even when hot without gloves, Buckles location and design allow quickly flick it open before burning fingers. I used to grill my veggies in an open top basket, having to stand next to it making sure it doesn't get burned unevenly, now only doing it in this on rotisserie. Yes, cleaning is a pain, but so was the opentop basket. Get some Dawn ultra foam to clean it.

I bought this it mainly cook potatoes and veggies on the grill. I like that it is up above the grill grates so I wasn't using up precious space but so far that's where my happiness ends. I love the charred edges of potatoes and veggies but this basket seemed to steam them more than anything. I was not expecting the cleanup to be as difficult as it was. I use a seasoning with large pepper pieces and they would get stuck in the mesh and was a pain to get out. The basket it big, which is great, but also bulky and doesn't nicely fit into my kitchen sink. So, cleaning was awkward and frustrating. I'm going to play around with it a bit more and see what I can get to do.

The basket holes are smaller than other rotisserie baskets on the market so you can cook items that are smaller. Did my first cook with beef ribs. Sprayed down the basket with oil, placed the ribs in and let it go. Came out fantastic. Placed it in dishwasher for cleaning and it came out clean. Advice for amateurs, don't put sugary items in it. Cook your chicken, ribs, or whatever first, then sauce them outside the basket to finish. Otherwise you'll get a basket covered in sauce and burnt sugar which will be a pain to wash off.

Very happy with the basket, I was using a much smaller vegetable rotisserie (for the last seven years) and doing a pound at a time, now I'm at 1 KG (2.2 pounds.)Pros (compared to small veggie basket):* I can roast a KG!!* "clamshell" opening is much easier to attach to the motor* basket is centered on the spit, previously I was attaching the basket to the side of the bar* because it's finally centered, roast turns out a bit more even* the basket can be removed and locked shut, shaking out the chaff is much easier than the winnowing method I was performing before.
