A little chunky in size but the ratchet mechanism makes up for it.

Great product, love it. I am getting older and the length gives me leverage.

120xp ratchet seems to be a lot smoother than my 84T ratchet. No flaws in the finish, lifetime warranty, made in Twain.

La qualité est bonne et le meilleur de tous est que j'ai pu desserrer une vis que je n'ai pas réussi à retirer avec une autre clé. Il a un poids approprié pour les travaux lourds. Je le recommande sans hésiter.

I purchased the 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" 120XP ratchets and they are beautifully designed, built and finished ...with a couple of questionable issues. I don't view the slightly proud switch lever or the really short length of the 1/4' to be a real issue, but when I opened the ratchets up, I was very disappointed to see only 6 of the 10 pawl teeth fully engaging the main gear, as that's going to significantly reduce it's strength. Also, the engagement ball is weirdly set too far forward on the anvil causing sockets to sit out much further than they need to. I've included a couple of pics showing the difference between my old 84 tooth GW ratchet, and the standoff is really noticeable ...will it prove to be a weal point, only time will tell, but a little disappointing.

Gearwrench tools are excellent. This ratchet has easily broken loose some very tight bolts and nuts. Highly recommend. Will be used soon to break loose some brush hog blades with a 1-5/8" nut that is rusted.

Great quality, great price, great shipping at 1/3 the cost of a tool truck. Minimal lash on the ratchet itself and a high tooth count that makes it feel like butter. It's probably the nicest ratchet I've owned so far. It's a floppy head so it's good for makin the perones jokes with the guys. It's 1/2" so it'll bust some bolts too. I think it'll last a long time. Would buy again but I doubt i'll ever need to.

Face it. You're here because you want a ratcheting breaker bar, essentially. And that's what it is. We know the length, (24") and we know it's their new line of XP120 which I am fan of. I won't tell you everything about the ratchet because, well... It's a ratchet. Watch a YouTube video if you want.Let me get this out, and beware.First of all, what the **** GearWrench and Amazon. It's opened & been used. I would return it, and ream out Amazon but I got it at a good price ($70 CAD) so I am not returning it because the price I imagine will fluctuate and generally go up.Second of all, which I noticed nobody even mentioned so far, (*vine customer* blah blah - new shiny thing that goes click click)...It's drier than a popcorn fart.It sounds horrendous. Do yourself a favor, open it up, carefully brake clean it, throw some SuperLube® in it, or gear oil, or engine oil, or olive oil, or bedroom lubricant or even spit on that thang. Whatever. It needs it bruh.Don't use grease though. To make it a sealed head, RTV seal the cover over the edges (very lightly, and very tightly around the edge corner). Tighten it up, wipe off the excess and you now have a wonderful, gigantic ratchet, or breaker bar.- Sincerely, a Red Seal Millwright.

This is another item that I saw evaluated on the YouTube channel “Project Farm”. This ratchet out performed other more expensive ones. The man on the channel does not take sponsorships and purchases all the items that he tests. His tests are therefore unbiased and rather extensive. The only thing that I wish that this ratchet had is a quick release button that makes it easy to remove a socket. I realize that this probably weakens the square drive some but I’d take that convenience over the extra strength. I’m happy that I added this to my toolbox, a worthy addition.
