About this item

  • EXTENSION BREAKER BAR: Our 1/2-inch extension breaker bar is the perfect leverage tool to provide you with ample torque power and reach. The 1/2-inch drive combines with a long 18-inch handlebar to create a bar tool that can do it all.
  • STRONG MATERIALS: With a drop-forged and heat-treated chrome vanadium construction, this socket extension bar is highly resistant to corrosion from grime, oil, or dirt. The mirror-and-chrome polished finish gives this non-ratchet bar a constant shine.
  • VERSATILE BREAKER BAR: Reach tight spaces at any angle with the 180-degree flexible head for optimal and flexible leverage. Loosen, break, and remove any bolt that is rusted, damaged, or stuck in industrial machinery or automotive vehicles.
  • SPRING-LOADED DESIGN: The spring-loaded ball bearing holds your chosen socket securely in place on this nut-breaker tool. Attach your selected socket to the breaker head for a simple and quick way to unfasten stubborn bolts.
  • TOOLBAR PROTECTION: This socket breaker bar has built-in square drive radius corners that help reduce socket wear and tear by locking onto the sides of a fastener instead of the edges.

This Bar is long bar that gives a person great leverage when needed. This is a high quality extension, it had a very tight 1/2" attachment at the end that will fit any 1/2" socket. All of the metal being used in this drive bar has the look of precession, high quality metals.

I needed something to break off the nuts and bolts on my motorcycle that are torqued up to 80 ft-lb. This little guy did it happily with zero complaints.

I actually purchased this pull bar by mistake. I thought I was ordering the 24" handled version. After ordering and seeing my mistake, I was planning to return this back and order the pull bar I thought I needed. I was working on my car, removing a bolt holding the lower control arm in place. Both impact wrenches I have were unsuccessful in removing this bolt that had been greatly over torqued at the factory. With the limited clearance, my last option was to use a pull bar. I had just enough room to break the bolt loose pushing on the pull bar with my foot. I would not have been able to use a longer pull bar. This bar got the bolt loose and I was able to rachet it out finally after about 2 hours. Should have started with this pull bar first and I would have saved myself a lot of time. This bolt was torqued to about 250-300 lbs and this 18" pull bar got the job done with no issues. Solid and well built in Taiwan, not China. If you need to work in a tight spot with limited room and access, I can highly recommend this pull bar!

I bought this bar to replace a shorter breaker that came apart at the swivel (subsequently found the spring and repaired it). In comparison to my existing one (Craftsman), this is slightly less robust. The handle is about 4" longer, but the diameter of the handle is about 75% as thick. I would have some concern of its strength on a really hard torqued nut/bolt. I often add a pipe cheater, which might over-tax this handle. For general everyday use, it appears to be of otherwise good quality.

I would give it a 10 star if it existed. After over 20 years I decided to change the transfer case oil on my old truck. the drain bolt was no problem, the fill bolt was impossible to remove, I tried everything, in the end it was a little out of shape, lol. Last resort was to heat it up with a medium torch, spray some bolt releaser on it and now this breaker bar. 15 inches, At first I didn't get a good grip because the bolt was already a bit chewed up, then I flipped the front over 180 degrees and got a good handle. I had to push one leg against the truck frame and? Clack, it moved. Factory specs is 200 ft/pound, this was more after 20 years. I am such a happy camper. :-)

Used it for removal of a seized bottom bracket. I don't know who needs to see this, but it works, physics really works! Would not hesitate to buy again, but I doubt that's necessary, it feels solid and well made. Would probably outlast me
