Recently purchases a numbeer of exterior sconces/hanging lanterns to upgrade the home. Purchase thiss to seal the backplates. Works well for stucco.

I used this silicone caulk on a car project twice. The areas where I applied this product no longer leak water into the vehicle. Easy to use, and highly recommended product.

I use GE silicone as a Professional and once applied there has never been a reason to revisit the installation. Whenever I try something else I end up revisiting the job to "fix it"grrrrrrrr

This is a good caulk, but unfortunately, I was led astray by a few reviews that suggested that it was paintable. It says right on the package "non-paintable" and that has been my experience after 48 hours to cure and three coats of paint. Fortunately, it's not too big an area and if I keep up with coats, I will eventually get it covered, but I will pay closer attention to the labeling next time.
