The material is exactly what I wanted and worked well for my project. My issue is that the back of the tube blew out, with 2/3 of the material still inside. Because of this, 2/3 of the material went into the trash.The first thing I thought, was maybe I didn't cut the tip far enough back, but then when I double checked, I was the 3rd line back from the top, and it was working well up to that point. I also didn't feel like I was squeezing the tube hard or that there was a lot of pressure towards the back of the tube. At any rate, the tube failed and I had to throw away quite a bit of material. May have been a defective tube, since I have used this before without problem.

I've been using Proseal black RTV for years, it's my "go to" RTV for automotive and many other applications. I especially like it for resealing head and taillight lenses. Also, its cheaper than the other name brand RTV

J'utilise ce produit pour l'étanchéité des couvercles de pont de mon 4x4, et ça fonctionne impeccable !!Par contre la mise en œuvre est laborieuse car le joint est épais et à vraiment du mal à sortir du tube, gros avantage on peut faire un petit cordon et ça ne s'étale pas comme avec un joint bleu bien connus...Pour le reste rien à dire ça fait super bien le taf, la seule chose qui m'inquiète c'est le jour ou je vais devoir rouvrir mes couvercles, j'espère que ça s'enlèvera sans trop de galère...

L'ho usata diverse volte questo è il secondo tubetto. Per formare guarnizioni motori ottima, l'ho usata anche per il vetro della stufa a legna per fissare la guarnizione del vetro.

Great stuff. Used on a Rocker cover along with a new rubber seal as wasn't quite able to get a good seal with rubber moulded seal alone due to slight variations in cover due to age.Followed instructions, cleaned surfaces and applied a bead on both surfaces with rubber seal in between. Tightened bolts untill sealant started to squish out and left for 1 hour. Went back for final tighten and has been absolutely fine. No leaks.

es muy práctico como sellador tipo silicona, el pero es que la cánula no la podrás reutilizar muy. aun así muy buen producto.

Good product, Not as expensive as other brands, I used it for the end seals on a intake manifolds. This wont age and crawl out like gaskets will. I use a small coating around the water ports on heads just to extend the life of the seal/Gasket. Good price, good product, As with all silicon products, LET IT DRY before using repaired items, Over night is at least a good idea give it a try.
