It's a perfect beer/pick/phone holder for practices and performance, not much to say beyond that. Time will tell if it holds up.

Got the trays today. One of the 5 has a missing pick holder. Other than that, they look okay.

Very sturdy, screw and thread are solid; can’t see ever stripping this.

I have this attached to a lamp next to a couch. It holds a 32 oz drink and a remote control fine. Well built. Solid when mounted, doesn't wobble. Couldn't be easier to install. Great value.

This tray is great. The plastic makes it really lightweight, which gives me added peace of mind loading it up because I know I'm not overburdening the mic stand with the added weight of a heavy metal tray. The tray is securely attached with a D-clamp and able to hold the things I need it to (phone, pint glass, flashlight, set lists). I really appreciate the cup holder - feels much more secure to me than just putting my glass on a tray, especially with a lot of electronics around and underfoot. I wish the tray were a little bigger to accommodate an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper placed lengthwise. There would be plenty of space for that if you use a long boom, which I do. In any event, I tape my setlists to the tray and let them project off the end and that seems to work fine. I also have the On Stage MST1000, and I like this better. There's more tray space; the tray is lighter; the D-clamp attachment feels a bit more secure to me, and I really appreciate the glass holder. 4 stars for sturdiness and value for money only because I think $20 is a bit steep for a tray and because it is plastic and, therefore, more breakable than metal. But I can't envision the situation where the tray would ever be under enough pressure to break (maybe if you drove over it after the gig?) and, as discussed, I appreciate that it's plastic because that makes it lightweight. Overall a 5-star tray.

A dream product... made to measure for my armchair lampstand. How have I lived without one for so many years? It is perfectly designed for the space between my early 80s design lampstand, to which it fixes easily with the sturdy clamp, and my armchair.I enjoy the warmth and roundness of the sturdy plastic material as opposed to the metal alternatives on offer. The rounded shape is pleasing on the eye and ergonomic. I use it specifically for my mouse but is usegul for other things too

I'm offering more information than may be necessary so it's clear why I have the set up I have. I am disabled due to nerve damage and there are some days that my legs just won't work well enough to get out of bed. I have a bed tray anchored in place by a base that slides between the mattress and base. I get the shakes and sometimes I knock things over, like my soda, so I searched for something that could hold it if I bumped it. The Gator Case Tray looked ideal. The stem of that table is a perfect place to attach it! It's been a perfect addition! My glass, coke can, water, fits nicely in the cup holder. The tray holds the electric blanket control and my medication, freeing up my bed table for my cell phone and Kindle. It's been an outstanding addition! Everything is within reach and organized. If I bump it instead of grabbing it, it stays in place until I get a good grip on it. I can adjust the height, swivel it to the position I want it for my comfort, and the lip on the tray keeps things on the tray and not sliding off on the floor. I really like that little table/tray!

I know this is marketed as a microphone stand shelf, but I attached mine to a music stand. This is a great shelf to hold my banjo accessories. If attaching to a music stand, make sure it has a substantial post. It would not work with the thin $12 fold up style stands that have a tiny vertical post.I have been bothered with pens, picks, tuners, capos, and other small odds and ends cluttering up my music stand. When I turn a page in a book or spread out sheet music, these items really got in the way. Other reviews have complained about the shelf not being level. To my eye, it is spot on level - no complaints and very secure. The shelf itself is made out of a lightweight plastic mounted to a thick steel clamp which will serve my purposes well. The plastic is so hard, I believe if the stand would fall over, the shelf would chip, crack, or shatter. So if you have kids that run around knocking over your stuff, you might want to consider this before you buy. Do not over tighten the two locknuts during assembly, this could crack the shelf. As other have done, I placed a flat washer under the clamp (opposite the locknuts) for added support. The clamping mechanism is well thought out and includes a pre-installed foam/rubber strip to protect the stand it is attached to (shown in one of my photos). The protective piece on the end of the threads that presses into the stand when you turn the clamp is a very hard plastic. I have had it on and off a few times and did not mar or break through the paint. If I had one complaint, I would have preferred a slightly softer material here but that may have introduced some flex in the shelf if loaded with heavier items.I recommend not to set anything heavy on this shelf but it is plenty strong for cell phones, keys, a regular size drink, or other lightweight items a musician may need at the ready. If you are a traveling musician, this shelf takes a bit of time to install and remove because you have to spin the thumbscrew many times to back out the threads completely to loosen the clamp enough to clear and remove the shelf off of the post. My stand stays at my house and is never broken down so this is a non-issue for me.
