I wanted to attach my camera to one of my boom mic stands, and this did the trick. Its built well and functions as intended. Instead of buying a whole new stand, this gave life to products that I already own while saving money.

When I first received these I was a little upset because I thought they were made of plastic. They are not. They are made of aluminum. Another review mentions that the metal is thin but as long as you're not running over it with a car or squeezing it in a vice it's just as sturdy as you need. And once you attach it to a mic stand it becomes a moot point.

I bought these for my mic to fit onto the guard. The one's it came with were way too big and these were not only perfect but better quality that the ones that came with both the mic and the guard

This adapter is just what I needed to mount a camera with a 1/4” female thread on top of a mic stand with a 5/8” male thread. Plenty sturdy for the purpose.

They fit perfectly, work perfectly, and so reasonably priced! I wish I'd bought a bigger pack of them so I could have one in every camera bag, and give some to friends. I will buy more. I already suggested to some indie music stores that they should sell these.

I was surprised how often I use these. The adapter fits on most mic stands easily. I mount go pro type cameras on them. They are a hard plastic so inexpensive. I think the plastic construction is going to be ok for a situation like mine but a metal one would be sturdier for travel. Comes in a pack of 4.

These are very lightweight and easy to strip, but if you’re careful, they will last. Game changer in my tiny studio. I can now mount my camera on a weighted bottom, single-pole mic stand. By adding a flex arm and this adapter, I have all the capabilities of a tripod stand without the huge footprint. What used to take up anywhere from three to five square feet of floor space per camera has now been knocked down to about one square foot. It has greatly enhance my productivity simply by allowing me more space to operate.

Complete waste of money. Cheap looks and feel. Ended up buying another set from a professional music store for a fraction of the cost of this tat.
