I currently use this table top stand to mouth my logitech c920 webcam behind my laptop.It's perfect for what I currently need it for.The smartphone clip is horrible, the tripod head is a lot of plastic but it functions for holding my webcam. Overall the stand functions well for what I currently need it for.

Very impressed by the quality of this little mic stand. The base and pole are both made of metal, unlike many others in this price range, and the whole stand has a very "premium" feel to it. I've purchased other, similar stands in the past, all of which felt very cheap, and none of which survived very long before breaking. This stand, on the other hand, feels like it will last a long time.The base is slightly larger than average, which improves its stability, but isn't so big that it feels out of place on my desk. The pole screws into a hole in the base, rather than onto a threaded stud. (Personally, I'd have preferred a threaded stud, due to the fact that it would have allowed me to swap out different poles to add additional height, but at this price range I can't really complain.)The included ball-head joint is better than it seems at first. Although it's made out of plastic, it actually holds its position better than many of the metal ball-head joints I own. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem using this setup with a lightweight mirrorless or DSLR camera. The greater risk, in my opinion, would be the camera accidentally getting knocked over rather than the ball-head joint failing or breaking.

I recommend this product, good price, might be able to buy one physically for a better deal during cyber monday or something/ maybe walmart, but this was also a good deal and does its job!

You get what you paid for. The base is little light comparing to other desktop stands. It can hold a mobile without any issues. For microphone it's better with light weight mics doesn't recommend it with heavy mics

I needed two of these to mount to my ceiling for overhead microphones. These were the most affordable that I could find on Amazon. Since I was drilling through them and into a ceiling stud, I was not concerned about the weight of the base. I drilled two holes on either side of the center point and one through the center, secured with 3" screws into the stud and then attached the center pole and then threaded on boom arms that I had already.NEGATIVES: I ordered two of these, one being a lightning deal and the other normal priced ($14 as of this writing). I'm not sure if the one was on sale to clear older stock but there was a significant weight difference between the two stands, one weighed ~9oz and the other ~12oz fully assembled without the microphone clip attached. When fully extended, both stands had a slight bend in them due to the nature of the clamping mechanism for the extension rod. The "pipe" on this is also smaller than the standard dimensions of stands you'd buy at a retail music equipment provider.POSITIVES: Shipped with all items described in the listing and everything was threaded properly to securely attach to mic clips and boom arms that I have in the studio. Assembly was self explanatory but shipped with documentation just in case you need it. The cellphone holder and microphone clip were a nice bonus to have in the studio and can be threaded onto any standard microphone stand. Far cheaper than the heavier duty options available at music retailers for around $40.OVERALL: Minus one star just for the inconsistency in product. Obviously for the price these are not pro level but with a little care they will get the job done. If you're using this to hold up an expense microphone with any kind of leverage from the base I would suggest adding weight to the base - something like a 5lb weight plate with a 1" hole are easy to come by used and can be slid over the pipe - but otherwise if you get the 12oz weight it should be okay for smaller or lighter microphones. If you're like me and just need a cheap mounting plate these are a better deal than trying to just buy a 3/8" threaded mounting flange when you factor in the extension bar and accessories.EDIT: I ordered a third for another cieling mount and this one arrived weighing 17oz, MUCH heavier than the other two. I don't know if they're just squirting random amounts of metal into the base at time of manufacture or if I've received three different version updates but I definitely can't speak to the consistency of product.

I purchased this primarily to use as a desk stand for my GXL3000 condenser microphone, and it works excellently for that purpose.I was initially concerned about sturdiness; I saw some reviews claiming the base is not weighted, and the GXL3000 is a pretty heavy microphone, especially with the shockmount attached. However, the product must have been updated since those reviews were written, as when I unboxed the stand, I was pleased to find the base has a lot of weight to it. It is substantially heavier than I thought it would be - this thing is rock-solid. I can adjust whatever I’m mounting without any fear of the base rattling around or falling off balance. Furthermore, the pole piece/height adjuster is very secure and locks in tightly.The other mounts work great as well. This can support a heavy condenser mic, so it certainly has no trouble with the clip and phone adaptors. It worked fine with my iPhone 11 Pro, as well as my SM58.The included gimbal for the phone mount does it’s job nicely, though it’s obviously not the most high-quality thing out there. That said, if you’re using your phone to record videos, you probably aren’t that concerned with having the best gimbal money can buy.Admittedly, the branding on the box is hilarious. It’s full of poor English and silly marketing statements, but don’t let that scare you away - this is a really solid product and very good value for the money. My favorite quote on the box is: “Release your hands Let the music slowly into your better life!”Ordering inexpensive Chinese products like this can be hit or miss, but this stand is one of the good ones. Excellent value for the money; I highly recommend it for any hobbyists looking for an affordable (yet highly effective) desk stand.
