Works well for what it is - handle is plastic, but does not feel cheap. Blade is not razor sharp -- cutting multi ply 2" OD radiator hose required me to use my other hand squeezing the tube, so it would remain round.The blade shifts slightly laterally under a tight grip, but that's to be expected given the materials.Worked where my larger utility shears I usually reserve for this purposes did not - I use Gates for waterpumps, belts, and now to cut my hoses.

We have to cut 2.5 and 3-in hose often. This does it well

I missed having one of these in my toolbox. I usually use bulk hose for repairs and these cut squarely and cleanly!

I use this very often for fuel hose and heater hose. The blade stays sharp for a long time, and it makes it so much easier than using any kind of knife or other tool. Must have if you cut hose.

Fantastically simple product for one simple purpose, yet so satisfying to use. I’ve never been able to cut a hose as cleanly as this tool allows you to do. All my cuts using this cutter came out looking just like the end of a hose that came out of a new package. Everything is looking factory OEM now! I highly recommend it if you’ve been cutting hoses with a box cutter or some other scissors, this tool makes quick work of it.

Je déteste ce couteau , lorsque je coupe du tuyau pladecc la lame est longue et ne reste pas centrer alors le couteau brise .

I don't know how I lived without this cutter for so long. Makes a clean cut on large and small diameter hoses. Wll be a standard tool in my toolbox!

I used this tool to cut 1 1/2" i.d. sanitation hose for the head on my sailboat. The hose is reinforced with stainless steel wire so I had to be careful, side cutters were used on the wire. This cutter sliced right through the hose, no problem. It also cut 3/4" i.d. rubber hose with no problem. I would recommend this tool.
