This set of hose clamp pliers is a great set for anyone who does their own car or lawn tractor repairs. My husband said he wished he had the one with the long cable several times in the past, it would have made the project he was working on so much easier.When I asked my husband how much he thought this set of pliers sold for, he answered around $90…when I told him the price at the time of this review is $22.99…he said, with the case? Yup..now the case is a basic plastic blow mold case but it does have good latches in my opinion ( the latches even have arrows showing which direction is up for opening ). These pliers are specialty but when needed they are the right tool for the job.We think this set of hose clamp pliers with the case is a steal of a deal.I hope my thoughts and photos help someone.

This is a fully functionals set of hose clamp pliers made to fit various styles of automotive hose clamps. The remote style is particularly useful. While most of the set are not spring loaded, they all do feature ratcheting closure. The included hose pick is a nice touch. The case holds the set securely and keeps them organized when not in use. Build quality seems perfectly acceptable and after using a few, I have no reason to believe they won't hold up for a reasonable amount of time. This set is a must have for anyone who will be removing a lot of hose clamps.

Purchased these for one off work on my truck and other vehicles. I often time have difficulty taking off some clamps and this fits the bill at removing them. They are not the highest quality(example they have external springs that can easy come off if not careful) but I don’t work on vehicles for a living so it shouldn’t be a big issue, if at all. Otherwise, they feel generally well made for the price. They come in a sturdy case as well which makes storage easy.

I had to rent one of these the last time I had to change a power steering return line that was impossible to get at with normal pliers.This set has the plier on a wire that is the tool you really need as well of a bunch of othersComes in a nice storage box, feels well made.

Well, I assume that this set will cover most all my automotive clamping needs. However there is no documentation included so either I have to search the internet or figure out which plier to use and how to use it by trial and error. Still this set will work better than using regular pliers to try and remove/install clamps.

If you follow me for my reviews, you can just skip ahead...All good tools come in a case. This set of pliers comes in a case that firmly holds all of them in place and locks shut. The advantage of a case, given the number of pliers is that instead of them taking up space in a tool chest, they can be set vertically on a shelf. And, the case keeps all of them organized with the smaller parts.I requested this set because I needed a single plier to remove the hose clamps with the ears, that I always use pliers on, and curse the entire time. All of the pliers are heavy-weight and have comfortable, if not slightly slippery grips. Half of them I have never seen before and as I look at them, I start realizing how much easier my life would have been had I owned this set years ago. If you work on your own cars, tractors, ATV/UTV/XUV, you'll want to spend the money to get this set of pliers. Once I get to use them more, if anything screwy happens, I will come back and edit this review.

PPKBBEB 9PCS Automotive Multi-Handle Hose PliersCase is wonderful and has nice latching locks vs just a flexible section of plastic as a retention. The pliers all fit inside, but are made of OK quality metal. I bet I could bend it if I tried with how thin the sheet metal is that was used, but only slightly and it would mostly return to the original shape.These will work for the hose clamps you will run into and save you from using a locking pliers in a pinch.Worth the price for the quality and especially for the case quality.
