The tools are both holding up to the tasks I'm using them for, and then some other uses too. They don't have the cleanest look or presentation as more expensive tools out there, but they function just as good. They just have a rougher texture instead of a smooth, polished appearance, so it's not a reason to avoid them. The metal is heavy weight with the rigid tough, solid feel that I'd expect from plier style tools. They grip power plugs like a snug glove and even have other uses I've found, like working with fabrication using hot plastics that I tinker with as one of my home hobbies. The handles are comfortable for large sizes hands too, plenty of surface palm contact for long-term gripping. Recommended worthwhile deal, thank you very much.

On of the pilers (the ones without chrome finish) is, considering the price, very nice the other is bad quality, ill-aligned useless for its intended purpose, but my wife will use it for her crafts.

The "Electrical Disconnect Pliers - 2Pcs 9 Inch" are a great couple of pliers that help with hard to manipulate fittings on automotive electrical and fuel type fittings. The pegs on the pliers can depress recessed buttons or press a tab and grab a plug (simultaneously) to separate a stuck electrical connection. The larger set is great for hard-to-press fuel quick-connect fittings. The pliers are a carbon steel and have rubber/plastic coated handles that are dense and acceptable in their grip. These are not overly polished or precision fitted, but they do the job fine for a reasonable price. I used these to separate electrical connectors for a power window inside a car door that I did not have the finger strength to separate. I have also used them on a boat gas line quick disconnect. These are worth every penny and I highly recommend.

I have a tendency to eschew purchasing tools for the rare job, preferring to suffer at my own hand trying to get things done with tools that are mismatched to the task, or after painstakingly specializing ordinary tools to answer to a special purpose, or surmounting a tool-challenge by inventing a creative process. Because I am my own worst enemy by virtue of stubborn frugality some times. But at this price point you don't have to follow my example.With these tools I have absolutely no excuse to deny myself tools that are designed especially for disconnecting electrical lines in cars. No more cursing and crying fighting connectors.Sure, they aren't the prettiest tools in the drawer, but at this price point, heck, even if they cost more, the fit and finish of the jaws and tips are excellent, with only the fuel disconnect pliers being only slightly out of alignment height-wise. Both pliers open and close smoothly, but I will confess that the first thing I did was oil all of the exposed metal, wipe them clean, and then oiled them again, just to make them a little prettier and less prone to rust.
