Third Garmin in twenty eight years. Set them up properly for your equipment/truck and your good to go. Trust them over the other GPS brands.

GPS works really well for a trucking GPS. It won't send you down roads you aren't allowed on. Testing has only been within 100 mile radius of Philadelphia. So far works well in Pennsylvania and Jersey. 4 stars only because it appeared that someone attempted to open the package of the gps unit itself. Like someone partially opened the Garmin box. It wasn't a full open box. Just partially. Everything was there and in good condition though but I think the seller should be more careful with that prior to packaging for shipping

Very easy to set up. My husband doesn't get taken down roads that semi's are not allowed. He seems to be satisfied with this purchase and would recommend.

So I run three GPS in my truck. Google maps, platform science copilot app, and this garmin. You can program your truck size and weight into this for it to give you a route that fits your truck. What I do like about this GPS is it won’t lie to you when you put an address in and it can’t find a good route. It will find the most suitable route and if there’s any issues it makes you aware of it. I was 80,000 pounds a few days ago and it told me it found a route but the route had one spot where I would be to heavy. This is where google and an atlas come in. This GPS isn’t a lifeline it’s simply a tool. I still plan my route but this does make it easier. So far it’s been spot on. It doesn’t take me out of route to bad either when I’m maxed out on weight. It tends to keep it pretty close to the quoted miles. I highly recommend for anyone in the truck driving industry but only as a tool. Not a life line. Use your atlas then plan off it with your GPS!

the software has not be updated in the past 20 years. the maps are no good. basic things like trucks are allowed or not allowed are not captured correctly. roads are messed up. you never know if you are allowed or not allowed on a particular road because this gps can not be trusted.Most interstates and freeways close for truck traffic as per Garmin. Really?????Garbage.

I have been trucking for over 30 years, and this by far is the WORST gps i have ever owned. The biggest issue with the gps is it will not find the simplest locations. It literally will spin in search mode forever. Its incapable of rerouting if you have to get of route because of road closures, accidents, etc……I would not recommend to anyone……Horrible product for truckers!!!!!!!!

My unit arrived brand new, and in its original package. I love the mobile app that pairs with the GPS to give you live traffic, and weather updates. I like how clear and crisp the screen resolution displays all the info you need. There's a lot to like about what Garmin did with this GPS.The things I don't like are:1. You have to select the city you want to navigate to everytime.2. Jumping in and out of menus for basic things.3. Not arranging saved locations alphabetically.Overall, I'm pleased with this unit, it's worth the money
