Threads fit well and good of them to provide Teflon tape for creating a tight seal.Absolutely no dripping from either connection.

I do Window Cleaning as a business and we have pumps that we use that require this fitting to be able to install so that the hose doesn’t get kinked. This is a very durable product and screwing very easily. It also seems to last a good amount of time to. Some products out there don’t come with Teflon tape and so I like that at this one does and it looks like it comes with a couple extra O-rings too if I remember.
