Took a while to deliver but its what I needed. Only used the flat bracket for my needs next to my hot tub. The only complaint I have is the hose connection at the spigot has to have a double washer or its too shallow to seal and will leak everywhere! I'll use the other 90 degree bracket under the deck for a secondary hookup 👌 so nothings waisted. The 90 degree fitting on the back is excellent for the needed strain relief on the hose to the ground.

I ordered this not fully realizing what was for. It's really just a way to put a water spigot at the end of a hose, mounted anywhere you want. That's really what I was after initially. The description leans heavily on the idea of mounting this through a screen, which would be handy for some I'm sure, but really you can use the included brackets to mount this just about anywhere. My original plan was to mount this to the side of a square post in my garden; I believe it would have been perfect for that as well. I eventually realized that it made more sense to run a pipe directly from my irrigation lines to a faucet rather than using a hose, as this would. It's still a clever idea and I may find a use for it somewhere. It's worth pointing out that the way this comes together is a little funny. The faucet valve goes from 3/4 GHT to 1/2" NPT, then a thread adapter changes that back to garden hose thread, then there is an elbow to connect the hose to. Between the faucet and the adapter, there is the bracket that this passes through as well as two heavy rubber o-rings. These rings really shouldn't be sealing anything if you get your threads sealed properly, and should really only exist as space fillers to keep things solid when you put it all together. These are NOT regular hose washers; they are larger; don't get them mixed up. Even though I'm not using this item (yet, plans may change again), it seems to be exactly what it claims to be and other reviewers that have used it seem very pleased. For the $40 price, you could probably put together something comparable that would do what you needed, but this is really kind of a unique item and pretty versatile, especially if you really do want to run a water hose through a screen. What you're paying for are these specialized brackets and an assembly of parts that makes everything come together reliably. It's a pretty good design really, well suited to any situation where you want a fixed faucet available at the end of a hose.

I have a growing number of raised garden beds near to a small greenhouse. While I eventually would like to trench a water line to the area, for now everything is supplied by hoses fed from an outdoor faucet some distance away. There is a 3/4” hose that generally stays in place, and several reeled hoses that are spooled out as needed. Each bed has a soaker hose, which means there never seem to be enough hose attachment points. When I saw this garden hose faucet valve and mounting bracket kit, I knew I could find a way to put it to good use.As you can hopefully see from my review photo, I have mounted the valve/bracket combination to one of my raised beds. There is a pivoting standard female garden hose fitting on the back of the faucet that attaches to the incoming supply hose, which gives a faucet conveniently located right at the garden. It is working fine just attached to the bed frame, but I would eventually like to put in a separate 4x4 post to mount the valve and a self retracting hose reel which would make it easier to reach to the greenhouse. It is definitely nice to have a real faucet to fill buckets/containers; rinse pots, tools and my hands; or temporarily attach another hose to extend to the greenhouse.Overall, I find this YOEXON Garden Hose Faucet Valve and Mounting Bracket to be a clever and flexible arrangement. If you need to mount an extension hose faucet, this kit will do the trick. The two-piece mounting bracket can be stacked in different ways to accommodate a variety of configurations, making it adaptable to most installations. I find it to be a welcome and worthwhile addition to my water setup.

This saved me so much grief, I have a very large yard but only faucets on the house. I had to run a hose and zip tie it to the fence and then add another hose to water my garden, it was such a pain to make sure everything was turned on and not leaking like it would every year. Now I can just attach this to my fence and attach my hoses and turn the water on and off from the fence, plus it looks very neat. Works great.
