I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting much when I bought this but it is actually very nice. It looks strong enough to help me remove the stubborn weeds and I am looking forward to trying it.

You can’t find tools like this in the big box stores. I use this all summer to keep up with the weeds in my garden. Comfortable to use and strong.

I’ve had this a couple months now and you wouldn’t believe the size of some of the roots I’ve gotten out. This really gets deep into the soil and is strong enough to use as a lever once it’s under a root. Normal roots are easy to get out with this, but I get a lot of satisfaction taking out the old gnarly ones. If you stay on top of weeding, your roots may be long but more delicate (less woody) and you might like a slimmer blade to cause less disruption to the soil, but this tool is fantastic for reclaiming property that got away from you a bit.

An excellent, well constructed stainless steel weeding tool. I would have rated a 5 except I would prefer a wider (3/4") cutting tip. This tool has a 1/2" tip. A previous weeder that I owned had a 3/4" cutting tip. It is often difficult to find the center of a dandelion root - the narrow tip causes one to have to cut repeatedly to sever the root of a dandelion. In addition, If I were designing/fabricating this tool, I would also provide a sharper cutting edge - I used a flat file to provide an improved sharper edge.

I bought this for weeds and it works great. I needed it really for the dandelions that you just can't seem to get a good enough grip on to get the whole thing out. This gets right in there and plucks it out. So easy and then just rinses off until next time.

I have never had a tool like this before, so I really didn't know what to expect. I wasn't really expecting much of this tool but I thought I would take a chance and purchase it because the dandelions seem to be taking over the yard and driveway this year. This little tool arrived on time and I couldn't wait to use it, so I did. I was able to easily remove small dandelions and other stubborn long rooted weeds from the driveway and yard. I honestly couldn't believe how easily they came out of the ground. And it wasn't just part of the weed, it was the entire weed. I am thoroughly amazed with this tool and would highly recommend purchasing.
