Came to our house after being gone for quite a while and had dozens and dozens of thorny weeds. This is the best product I have ever used. It made de weeding the yard a breeze I highly recommend it.

Video available to show how to assemble. Tools provided adequate for assembly, but I used my own Allen wrenches and screwdrivers, as they were better quality to do the minor assembly work.This tool does not "squeeze" grab the weed like some others - it relies on a twisting motion to secure weeds. May not work as well for some types of weeds that you may be faced with. Not a big issue for me.I personally love the eject feature. You can easily discharge the "twist" captured invader into your bucket - very satisfying! :-)

I was very pleased with the unit-- the design is excellent. It was effective in removing weeds without bending over. The adjustable handle was a plus as well as the mechanism to remove the weed clump from the unit. The unit worked beautifully for a few hours then one of the round rods broke off, even thought the soil was relatively soft, rendering the unit useless. My advice to the manufacturer is to strengthen the rods or make them replaceable. I am returning the unit for a replacement because I really like the design.. My hope is that I just received an inferior unit. Time will tell. To Amazon's credit I filed for a replacement yesterday and I am receiving the replacement tomorrow.

Got this for crabgrass problems. Had tried a pitchfork style and the head was bending. So I returned that and got this instead. Not sure how long this will last as you have to stab then twist. The twisting part is the iffy part. But so far it's holding up. The other issue I have is the 3 spikes are a little narrow for crabgrass. Lots I've had to stab 3 separate times to get majority of the root out. The "pump" action handle was a marvelous idea too. I have clay where Im at. So the root and clay gets stuck. But with the feature, it comes right off.

Simple to use, saves your back because you stand up. We have crawling weeds that run under the grass in Florida and it is amazing to see the weed legs pulled in as you windup the puller. When you center the unit, it also pulls the root out. It is made very strong and designed to last.

This was received as a gift. I think that this would be great in more northerly climates where there is dirt instead of sand. It would work great on dandelions. It is harder in my Florida yard where most weeds grow by rhizomes or extended roots systems. It is easy to use and lightweight.
