It's a great product and easy to install. Our garage door is old, and the previous owners did not replace the sealer; it was old and broken. This product saves us from a big headache after a snowstorm.

I bought this one for two reasons.1. The bottom of my garage door has a profile with the bump in the middle. This was one of the few that I found that matched that profile. I could of used the flat ones but felt like it was more secure matching the profile of the bottom.2. The aluminum track sections are longer than others. Another one I tried had like 16 inch sections. I believe these were more like 40 inches. This made for easier sliding of the seal with less seams. The track installed very easy. I put a bead of silicon between the track top and the door bottom before installing. The rubber seems heavy duty and slid in without the need for soap.

I have an older garage door and the rubber bottom seal and aluminum track both needed to be replaced. I have to say this product worked perfectly. Besides that I found the materials to be of high quality. I am not a skilled handyman but the provided directions were very clear and made the job a success. Note that the track comes in multiple pieces vs the typical one piece track when purchased at a building materials store but it attached and performed no differently. The bottom seal weather protection has been perfect. We have had major rain storms since I installed and not a drop getting into the garage. The rubber tube inside the outer seal does the trick (the rubber is heavy duty). If you look closely at the picture you will notice how the door stands just a little higher off of the cement than a door that doesn't have the rubber tube inside. I also appreciated that Ginchain provided five extra self tapping metal screws than needed to complete the work, just in case. I am very happy with this purchase and the years of good service this product should provide.

It is easy to install. The hard part or time-consuming is the preparation. If it's a new door, nothing to worry about. You need to remove the existing seal, nails, and staples to prep if it is an existing one. I like the ingenuity behind this product of having a tract and a seal to slide into. Very clever.

Easy to install. Has self tapping screws so all you need to do is screw the rail straight into the bottom of the garage door, spray some WD-40 on the track and slide the rubber seal right on. Took me and my son about 15 minutes to install this on a 20’ garage door. Just make sure you know how to reset the garage door limits because that will definitely be required.

I tried three other products for my 30 year old door and none fit. This one fit, was fairly easy to install, and with an abundance of liquid soap and silicone spray, I was able to slide the 10’ rubber gasket into place myself. Appears to be a well made product at a fair price. (Be prepared to cut off a fraction of an inch from the final piece of aluminum, if necessary.) Unfortunately, the supplier provides wood screws when pan-head screws would be more appropriate…..thus my 4 star rating.

This review for the Convex shaped track and rubber seal. They are very well made and worth the wait, shipping took almost a month. very good value for the money. Fit the base of my garage door like a glove. Has enough length and extra screws.Installation straight forward. Actually it was a nice family project with the kids. End results very satisfying. We’ll see how it holds up.I recommend this product. Thanks

Product arrived as described, rails intact and undamaged, plenty of screws (with extra) for install. The rubber seal felt suitably robust. Time will tell re: durability.Rails were a little long for my garage door but cut down pretty easily with a hacksaw. Make sure your garage door is safely off or supported so it won't crash down on you during install! Remove the old seal and clean the bottom of the door (just used a brush to brush off dust and debris).Taped rails onto the bottom of the door (used painters tape) to align and pre-drill holes. MAKE SURE THE RAILS ARE LINED UP! You don't want them offset - will make seal install more difficult if it catches during install. Permanently attached with supplied screws (hand tightened) with no issues.Toughest part was getting the seal to slide into the rail. I decided to cut the seal to size after install to be sure of length, but you can cut before install I guess - would likely be a much cleaner cut than I was able to manage after the fact. Garage door bottom should be at a comfortable height for this next part, I suggest somewhere between elbow and shoulder height. Supplied instructions mention a few drops of soap in water to help lube the track - luckily I had a spray bottle of dilute soapy water from a previous project. This really made this part much easier! Liberally spray the rail and the seal (both sides!) as you go, and make sure you guide the seal at the insertion site. Instructions say to guide it straight about a foot from rail edge, but I didn't have that room. Guiding it in with your hand at the edge of the rail is a necessity. It can flex/bunch up a little and catch at the rail edge stopping the seal from going in. A second pair of hands will definitely help; even a little bit of coordinated extra tugging or pushing from the far end will help greatly (wife or kid will be sufficient, coordination is key)!Seal is much more secure than the old foam seal previously stabled to the bottom of my garage door.TLDR: good quality rails and seal, straightforward install. Will update if there is early failure.
