with the adhesive backstrip, this is very easily installed once prooerly positioned. the screw seal/covers are flimsy though. i had to reset a couple after overtightening running the screw right through the "gasket". cover caps are tricky as well. so far keeping out snow, we'll see about mice, insects and dust come spring. fingers crossed

Will post pictures after our brutal cold arctic blast.. needed it urgently to stop the air drafts making the garage cold.Arrived on time, packed neatly and well. It came as per the specifications.Measure and cut for side doors before sticking. It will fit well with ease and no effort. It will seal well with the glued area. Make sure you do nail it for extra strength. Flexible enough to give you the draft protection.Value for money indeed. 20 mins i was able to cover both sides.Feels durable.Will update the review in a week.

When I installed these gaskets, I made the mistake of placing them too close to the door- I put the crease at the inner edge of the frame (crease is where the flat part that attached to the frame transitions into the flexible flap that rubs against the door- a kind of a hinge). Because the flexible part that rubs the door is very thick and NOT flexible, the electric garage door would not come fully down- it stopped and reversed because it sensed too much resistance. Apparently, placing the hinge too close to the door required so much force to bend back this flap and close the door against it that everything stopped.I had to fully remove the gasket (and the paint peeled off the frame, thank you) and then reinstall it much farther away. In fact, I initially installed it with the garage door open. This time, I left the door closed and positioned the gasket so that the flexible edge just gently touched the door. This worked.Now that it is done, it does work very well, looks good, and actually was relatively easy to install, especially now that I know this. My garage has two doors- I did one at a time, and learning my mistake, the gasket install on the second door went smoothly and quickly.Just very unfortunate that none of these installation tips were offered in the documentation.

Fairly easy to install, wasn’t sure how well the adhesive would stick to my old door sill around the outside of the door, but it held well enough to give me time to put the seal in place, then drill the holes for the screws to keep it in place.

This is one of the best products at a great price to reseal your garage doors. It’s so easy to instal and it lasts several years. This is our 2nd time purchasing from this comoany/brand. It comes with screws on top of the 3M sticky back to create a great seal. The thickens is great too. Works well and you will not have any issues with the product or customer service!

For those struggling to keep the cold out and the heat in, this has been a game changer! We purchased 2 of these, one for the barn, one for the house.Luckily we had a warm winter day, it was 48 degrees outside. We cleaned/prepped the garage door trim surface with acetone. Measured and cut out pieces, and began adhering one at a time. It stuck easily enough to be able to grab your gun and screw it in place. It lifted off easily to readjust it when needed. This rubbery flexible trim is flexible enough to move around yet rigid enough to hold its shape when the wind kicks up and blows under the previous rubber, keeping air and weather out!There was a generous amount of trim, so don’t cut yourself short. This product was exactly what I needed!The difference in the sound inside after installing this was very noticeable! But the best part was how the inside retained its heat!Come spring I’ll paint the boards surrounding my garage, but I was afraid they would look tacky, and they actually looked quite nice. One thing to be warned about, the plastic screw covers easily break, so use caution when screwing in the trim. There was no extras.After we were done we then installed a bottom rubber barrier.
