Works very well for keeping my garage cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter! Installation is easy! May need some insulator tape to help keep it on the garage door but great product!

For us was easy to install (we’re 70 years old) we used the adhesive it came with but in addition to that our panels had a tuck area on the top and the bottom to secure as well and we didn’t have to cut. The morning temperatures have been in the 40’s and this morning temp in garage was 62. So far very please.

Had to cut a few in one direction to get them to fit my garage, but it was easy and nice that I didn't have to cut both sides. The two sided tape that these come with is not worth using though, but your own.

I installed these panels on my interior garage door using the two faced stickers which come with the product. After 3 weeks, they are now falling down from the garage door. The stickers do not hold the panels to the garage door. Very disappointed.

The insulation works pretty well in the cold weather. I could tell a difference when I completed one door and not the other. I did agree with another reviewer regarding the double sided tape that is provided. I would not hold in my experience. If you include purchase with aluminum tape, you will be better off.

My garage doors takes the sun from noon time to 4 pm and is pointing in a south westerly positionDuring the summer the heat is umbearably hot and gets above 130 degrees, and cold in summer. I purchased these precut panels to enhance the environment in the garage. As you can see the picture of the garage door was taken at about 4 pm in the afternoon. The inside shot shows 3 levels of panels installed and one left off. at 4:30 in the afternoon using a laser temperature gun the temperature of the insulated panels showed 96.1 degree Farenheit +/_, the non insulated panel showed a temperature of 123.4 degrees which is a 30 degree difference, which is a 25% decrease in temperature. The panels are precut for a standard double garage door and required no trimming. I tucked them into the folds, and under the frame braces with no problems. While the stickers are adequate there was not enough in the plastic pouch and ordered some additional 3m double patches on Amazon. I had tried foam panels in the past but lacked flexibility and often snapped and broke when trying to bend under the frame supports. These were very easy to install. I installed 12 panels in about 2.5 hours. I am waiting for the additional stickers to install the remaining top 4 level panels. Definitely recommend these. As you can see from the thermal temp gun the drop in temperature was significant.

This stuff definitely does what it is intended to do. I have been spending more time in my garage and have a standard white metal single car folding garage door. As I was working near the door on a mild day in the afternoon (68°F mostly sunny), I could feel so much heat radiating off the garage door which is what led me to this product. So I decided to do a simple test. I would use a laser thermometer to measure the surface temperature of the garage door before I installed the insulation and after. I collected data during days that were similar in weather and time of day. Before I installed the insulation, the garage door measured 94°F with the sun beating on it on a 68° mostly sunny day.A couple days later, after I installed the insulation, the garage door measured 77°F with the sun beating on it on a 72° sunny day.Take a look at the photo I attached to see the before and after photos as well as the thermometer reading. This product is keeping my garage door significantly cooler on an even warmer and sunnier day so I am sure it will serve its purpose; that goes for both summer and winter.I found the install to be very simple. I used some of my own 3M double sided sticky tape instead of the included tape, though that also seemed totally adequate.I did not have to do any trimming at all. When you unfold a sheet you’ll more than likely think it looks way too big, as I did. But take a look at your door panels and align the insulation sheet by elevation and windage and press it in. You can basically “neatly” cram the excess material into the panel of the garage door, which helps fill the gaps and provide better protection anyway.Overall, I would enthusiastically recommend this product to insulate your garage door. It doesn’t look picture perfect like you might want in a million dollar home, but in my humble 1940s cute little house, it looks just fine to me.

First, the positive. These radiant barrier panels SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the temperature of my garage. I live in Texas, my garage door faces west, and it is painted brown. The afternoon sun absolutely bakes my garage. Touch the inside of the garage door and you risk a 3rd degree burn. With these panels installed, the door is cool to the touch, even at 5PM on an August day, and my garage is cooler than the outside air.Now the dumb part. The little squares of 3M double-sided tape do NOT adhere to the radiant barrier panels. They stick to the inside of the garage door, but the double bubble insulation panels are falling off, leaving the little 3M squares stuck to the garage door.So if you order this, make sure you also order a roll of heavy duty double-sided tape.
