The legs are air filled and serve no purpose. If they were rigid, they would probably help stabilize the ball but these make no sense.

It exploded! I did NOT over inflated it. So anti burst? NOT at all - be careful its a harsh fall to the floor!

I love the idea of this, but functionally, the feet do not keep the ball from rolling. One of the feet on mine was bent because of the way the ball material was folded in the packaging, and that could be the issue. Even inflated, that foot remains bent.

I purchased this as part of my flexible seating in my classroom. I ended up using it myself because the kids were a little bit too rough with it. It is very comfortable and the little legs keep it in place so that it doesn’t roll across the floor when you’re not using it. I wouldn’t recommend this type of chair for flexible seating unless you have some sort of stand or holder for it. My students would easily fall off of it or pick it up and hit each other with it. Lol. One of my fellow teachers was pregnant and she enjoyed sitting on it. She said it was very comfortable during the third trimester.

We purchased these for our grandsons class, the children love them. It's very helpful with jittery children that have trouble sitting for long periods of time. They use the balls while they do their work and it help both child and student stay on task. Teachers love these!GREAT PURCHASE

【Contents】It includes the "Balance Ball Chair", a pump, two pins and two fliers.【About the ball & pump】There is a small hole at the bottom in the center of the four-foot. That's where the air goes in and out.The manual pump can be extended by pulling back and push in to get air in the hole.【Pumping Air】The problem is the hole is a bit small and there is a some kind of stopper. When I first try to pumping air in it, nothing happens. I think the stopper needs to be pushed in so that air can be pump in. Once that's out of the way, it doesn't take too much effort to pump air in. When you are satisfied with it, push the little white plug in to stop air leaks.【Usage】You can start using it immediately. But I felt it takes a while for the ball to be fully extended to the final form. I can't be sure how long. Once that's out of the way, the leg seems to stay in its place better.Since the whole thing seems to be made from rubber, there is nothing rigid in the leg that will be like a chair. It's simply a holder / stopper type of mechanism to stop the ball from rolling around. You have to make sure it stands on its legs after each use.I thought it's a chair as it shows in the picture that you can sit in front of a desk. But it's too low for me.My kid really enjoy sitting and bouncing on it.However, that's not what it's designed for.We both sit on it for a few minutes. Almost feel like meditating on it.Why?Because you have to sit straight up using your own spine to support yourself. Since the "seat" is curved and soft, it kind of conforms to your bottom. We both feel it helps adjust our spine to a better position and our body seems to enjoy the sitting position it requires to use the "Balance Ball Chair." I would recommended against using the Ball as a Chair to work but to use it as a meditation seat / exercise tool to adjust your posture.

I mainly got this as an alternative office desk chair. I used an older ball blow up pump (one I am now using as wood stove fire bellows) because the one enclosed is slow, awkward, doesn't stay in the hole easily while pumping, and both my hands were cramping trying to blow it up! The packaging even suggests maybe trying another was to blow this ball up. Looking at the photo of the woman sitting at the desk with a laptop on the order/info page looks like it would have been plenty high for office desks tasks. My height fell within the chart for this 65cm sized ball. Well, when I was done blowing it up I placed it in front of my desk and my weight pushed it down to where I knew it wouldn't be useful to me, so then I got brave and filled it up with some more air. I have used yoga balls at desks before, so this seemed to be the solution. It helped a lot, but, it was still too low for me to feel comfortable in my workspace. Hmmm. I have used the same size ball before. I am a little worried about blowing it even more. It's pretty full and tight. I am heavy set, so maybe I am just flattening out the ball too much. Perhaps a lighter weight person may not have this height difficulty. I will try to find another area for it because I do like sitting on yoga balls. Maybe I should exercise with it... nah. The little legs do keep it from rolling around when not in use... they are not meant to do anything while you are sitting on it.
