One of the two pins on each of the arms that hold the ball in place were broken. Also, the ball is way too small for any normal desk (I ended up having to buy a larger ball separately) and the wheel locks engage with the slightest touch. A little resistance would be good! Over,I definitely wouldn't recommend this purchase.

I purchased this ball-chair about 18 months ago. I only use it for sitting at my desk. Two primary flaws in design: 1. The wheel locks engage with little or no pressure asserted; and 2. The dual metal bars used to frame/position the ball onto the base are faulty. each bar has two (2) threaded ends that are bolted in to the base and secured with nuts below the base. Three of the four threaded ends have sheared off, so the balls is no longer in a secure position on the base.Finally, although not a design flaw, the ball also failed to remain inflated. I changed plugs, but in testing, it appears that the rubber itself has several miniscule holes at various locations. I'm guessing that these weekened areas are where the ball comes in contact with the base.My weight is well under the weight tolerances as stated by the company/manufacturer. You may want to reconsider this purchase.

The stand is light weight and not as durable as the description led me to believe it would be. While on the ball, it is easy to accidentally kick the lock buttons down which means the unit doesn’t move well. Design fault.

I purchased 2 "CanDo 30-1796 ball stool" for the office. I have to pump both balls with air every morning. The balls leak air overnight... very inconvenient. The tools have casters with locking mechanism. This function does not work well. One of the casters keep locking on its own...again, very inconvenient. I passed my time line for the return so I am stuck with it. I would not recommend.

Nice, I use for my desk. The ball is smaller that I expected, but it fit the support nicely.
