Not sure if it was a bad screen or not compatible for my printer. Looked to be good quality, but wasn’t for me. So I returned it.

Don't let the price fool you.... this is a very nice display and does the job perfectly. I printed a sloped case for it and mounted it on the front bezel of my homebrew printer. It did not disappoint and there were no surprises. Also, to save you a few hours of looking this up, here is how to connect it to an SKR 1.3 with Klipper. In printer.cfg just add:[display]lcd_type: uc1701cs_pin: EXP1_3a0_pin: EXP1_4rst_pin: EXP1_5contrast: 63encoder_pins: ^EXP2_5, ^EXP2_3click_pin: ^!EXP1_2

I used it to finally interface with my Mega S and it lasted a good 3 months under some abuse of moving and mounting till suddenly it died on me, after buying a new screen its all good, but I wonder why the old one is dead.

The plugs on this board are backwards compared to the BTT Octopus Pro board, and as such I had to reverse the cables. To do so I gently pulled the connector shrouds off the board and reinstalled them the other way around.

Could not get this to work with a FYSETC Spyder board despite hours chatting with FYSETC tech support, I actually tried two Spyders and two of these 12864 boards and no combination worked even when using FYSETC built test firmware. Because everything was made by FYSETC there should have no need to flip the ribbon cables. In the end FYSETC was not able to resolve the issue so I switched to a touch screen running Klipperscreen and the FYSETC 12864 is sitting in a drawer. Klipperscreen is a way better interface anyway.

I built a Voron 2.4 3d printer, and the LCD that came with the kit was DOA. Rather than source another one from China, I purchased this item for the quick shipping. After reviewing the wiring diagram, I hooked it up, and it's worked without any modifications or updates.

Great little board with an LCD, rotary encoder, button, and backlights. I'm using it to provide a user interface for little embedded microcontroller projects. The board has a quite low quiescent current draw when the LCD and backlights are off.If you're attaching the board to an Arduino, I recommend the u8g8 library for driving the LCD.
