I have no complaints with the quality, workmanship, and longevity of this router bit. It cuts well, and I have not experienced any problems with it. I would buy it again if I needed to.

This bit is very sharp, self cleaning and perfect when I use my trim router for door lock and knob installation. I hang Hemlock and Red Cedar exterior gates, and always looking for a sharp bit that performs a clean cut, and this one exceeded my expectations!

Money well spent. Tool does the job on a hard wood with no problem. Gives a clean cut, holds the edge as supposed to. Very satisfied.

This bit has worked extremely well, for the most part. I've been using it for straightening the edges of warped boards and cutting joints for a small project. I've used it nearly every weekend for about two months. My one word of caution to anyone new to routing is to clean the bit often (as in, every 50 linear feet or so if working with pine). Being new to routing myself, I didn't realize how quickly build-up can cause problems. The bit was cutting fine right up until one 3 ft. cut when the bit just seized up and stopped cutting. At first, I thought it might just be a hard spot in the wood, so I applied more pressure. That produced a large amount of smoke, but the bit still did not cut. Cleaning the bit appeared to solve the problem. So other than my own incompetence, I've had no problems with the bit. It has worked just fine and has cut just as well as the Bosch bits I have.

Performed perfectly in a home made edge banding trim jig... right up till I ran it into slightly misplaced clamp. Clamp:1, router bit: zip! It is salvageable, in fact it continues to work, just not as cleanly as it did before the clamp stepped in the way!

I will exclusively be using Freud router bits from now on. I've tried Skil and Bosch. The Bosch were good, but these are better and cost about the same. I get clean and consistent cuts with this and every other Freud router bit I've used. Highly recommend.
