I’ve only used once to cut through 1/8 inch deep on a cedar board and it worked really well even at a low speed. The diameter is actually a hair short to be 1/8 inch but it worked out perfect for me for very tight fit.

This bit cuts well. I'm cutting small grooves in MDF and Polycarbonate. If I keep the feed rate low I'm sure the bit will last a long time.

Working on a simple project with particle board and this broke less than half way into the project. I had only used it 6 times and the thing broke, even while doing progressively deeper passes to try and prolong the life of the bit.Total waste of money. Don't buy it.

Needed to run a channel for my screen door to relocate the spline. This gave the perfect width, although using a handheld router my line was not very straight.Between this, a replacement doggie door flap and some wood I was able to add a doggie door to my standard screen door.

Uses on Purple Heart wood. No issues with it like some others posted. I didn't use it a ton but it still seems sharp after my project. Good buy and cheap

Recently used this in a Dewalt DWP611PK to route out a custom Jolly Roger in red oak for a brass inlay. Needed this to route out the smaller nooks and crannies (like his janky teeth).Depth was ~2.5mm and I ended up routing out a solid 10 square inches of material with this relatively quickly. I've had other router heads break off from heat and me going to fast, but this guy held up well to my abuse. Once I had the outline done I swapped out to a larger bit to remove the bulk of the wood to be inlaid.
