If you value your fingers or tools, do not buy this product. I tried using the 3" bit, but as soon as I turned on the router, the bit bent 45° and started cutting into the router fence and shaking the machine violently. The bit was fully seated and tighened in the chuck, and the bit hadn't even made contact with the wood yet. It just bent from being out of balance and having a weak shank. 1/4" is not enough for a bit of this length. Very unsafe.

Do not buy this router bit; it's dangerous.I needed a longer bit to reach a piece I was working on. I was only cutting about 1/32" into the wood when the router jerked violently. The router bit is completely bent out of shape, the piece I was working on is destroyed, my router came close to being destroyed as well, and I barely escaped having a significant injury. I've never had to completely let go of a tool and jump away from it to save myself.Pay extra for good router bits. Cheaping out isn't worth losing a tool or your hands.

These are probably just too long for a 1/4" shaft. I was cutting birch with a template. The 3" bit wobbles so badly it wouldn't cut into the wood at all. The 2" bit works better, but it leaves ripples on the workpiece. This depth really needs a 1/2" shaft.

Purchased to install my wife's new cooktop. I needed to take about 1/4" of the counter top supports on both sides down below the new cooktop...a depth of 3" below the counter top. This worked perfectly! Lasted and still usable. No complaints. Nothing but smiles from my wife.
